Premier Inn Frome hotel

Rooms: The hotel is not very sound proof so you get woken up through out the night by motorbikes, people walking back from the bar and the floors in the room and bathroom are very creaky. The room was lovely and clean but looks a bit dated. Food & drinks: This premier inn was different to others I’ve visited as you had to give them the time you’d like breakfast most others you just turn up when you like.

We stayed here overnight between our 2 days at Longleat. We had a family room for us, our 4 year old, 3 year old, and 10 week old. The room was set up lovely with king-sized bed for us, 2 single beds for the older children and a cot for baby - all beds were clean and comfortable. We also had breakfast in the morning which was really good too! Overall, a decent stay and ideal place to stop for the night. Easy check in. Lovely staff. Clean room. Couldn't fault it. Cheap and cheerful.

The rooms was dirty the bed was small the room was so hot it was uncomfortable in April 2024 The restaurant was disgusting on every level. I couldn’t sit on the chairs they were so disgusting. Twice I had to move tables. I can’t believe that this restaurant is allowed to stay open. The staff were friendly, some not particular well trained with customer service but were embarrassed when I discussed the dirty of the restaurant. The worst premier inn in English history. We stayed here for a couple of nights and got bitten alive by BED BUGS. Disgusting! I couldn't believe how rude majority of the staff were. The service in the restaurant was an absolute shambles! The burger was cremated and waited 40mins for a pudding to come out, after asking twice to see where it was. The meal sizes were a joke and didn't even have half the food on the menu. Would not recommend staying here.

You know what you expect with a Premier Inn and Premier Inn Frome was no different. Clean, comfy and ideal for a quick overnight stay following a medical appointment. I'd advise you to book your evening meal as the adjacent restaurant can get busy.
