We stayed on Tuesday night and would like to say Thankyou to Peter, Jamie and the rest of the staff for everything they did for us as I am disabled and so was extremely grateful. Plus the Malthouse pub next door is a hidden gem as the food, staff and atmosphere are second to none. So with the hotel and pub you are in a WIN WIN situation. Rooms: Room was brilliant and absolutely spotless Walkability: Distance from hotel to gorgeous pub next door takes less than a minute Food & drinks: Breakfast was brilliant cooked by a young female chef

Lovely hotel but breakfast was very poor

It met expectations and everything went well.

Had a good stay here. Staff were very helpful - my brother had joined me at the last minute, and they were very good about sorting that out. We had push bikes with us that they allowed us to store in the laundry room, and said we could have kept in our room. Great location by the Leeds/Liverpool canal.

Good location

We booked online and the process was simple. We arrived and were assigned our room. I forgot to book a room with easy access and we were moved to another room with a lower sided bath without hesitation. The room was clean, fresh smelling, and perfect for our needs for a two night stay. The staff were all pleasant, helpful, and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was perfect to set us up for our four hour drive home. It is unfair to single one staff member over another, but the chef knows how to poach a good egg.
