Portillo's Downers Grove

Had to repeat order multiple times. Guy was new hardly understand what he is saying. Manager came said he is on training. How is he on training when no one is training him. Also manager said repeat your order as many times as needed. Manager with raised tone were arguing with us. When order was ready hot dog was all burnt so we have to go again dealt with. We asked is this was done on purpose because we had situation by the register? But we were assured no, no way. Anyway manager did right thing came up and said bring a receipt and he will refund money we paid. Feels like we were asking for all this. Anyway its bad experience on Sunday night.

This place keeps me sane when I need a hot lunch on a cold day.

Great burgers, damn best burger ever

Tell the fat mexican female manager to not take offense when someone asks for their order to be corrected to what was ordered and is clearly on the ticket. I mean id be upset daily if was your age working in fast food but dont take it out on customers.
