Popworld - Norwich

Went here visiting for the first time two couples our friends in there late 30s/ early 40s us in our 50s to be greeted on the door by two how can I describe very rude and obnoxious door staff who were very young and inexperienced staff . We were turned away because one the of our party ( who is 39 was judged to be under 25 ) she obviously is not but he still refused entry to add to the issue the door man too photos of us which is in breach of GDPR I find this very insulting and alarming This spoilt the end to what was a good evening and our first trip to Norwich In response to your reply your 20s ish door boy along with other members of your very rude staff proceeded to take photos of myself for no reason and when asked for a copy of what he had taken ( as they are obliged by law ) gave me a 56 year old with children older than him a mouth no answer as to why and what he was going to do with it ! Maybe your staff require more training in not only manners ( they clearly have non and how a 39 year old woman can look under 25 really ? ) No wonder clubs like this go bust Shocking absolutely shocking

I’ve not even been yet and have received poor customer service. A group of us intended on celebrating a 40th birthday but I never got any replies to my emails and phone calls (when I got through). My first call was in February! Yesterday I was told they’re now fully booked on the night. This has really put us off coming here.

Great place to be at cane for 2 days due to my hen night came with mum and mates great service on bar bit expensive but what do u expect in nightclubs. Price to get in wasn't bad. The bouncer sherrill she had been brilliant with me over weekend she has helped me out both nights of being there with my claustrophobic and she knew exactly what to do to calm me down. Definitely will come back next time

Great place if you love your pop cheese. A bottle of water far to expensive!!!!
