Popeye's on Lake Geneva

Had the rotisserie chicken and bbq chicken sandwich. I have to say the chicken was salty and tough. Was not impressed at all. However, the restaurant has an interesting decor and good service.

Huge disappointment! We were in town and decided to go back since we liked Popeye's 10 years ago. The prices have more then doubled, food quality as dropped significantly and service was poor. Charged and extra 75 cents for sour cream for my potato. Really? My wife ordered a drink from the Hot beverage section and it came on the rocks. When she complained she got attitude and was told "well I guess I can remake it with coffee." It took over 10 minutes to make it right. We will not visit again the next time we're in Lake Geneva.

Rotisserie chicken is top notch.

Love this place! Discovered it back in 2006/07 on a weekend trip. Last weekend, a group of us went up for a birthday celebration. I raved about Popeyes to them. We ended up stopping in for lunch. Food was just as I remembered, probably even better! The pot Pie was delicious. Cheese curds to die for. Mixed drinks were also very good! We had a great time.

1 star until they bring back the lobster bisque!

The food was good. The Gyro was piled high as promised, but the pita was not that good. Chicken tenders and pork sandwich was good. Needs a tad more flavor for the pork sandwich. Drinks were way overpriced for a mai tai and a Bloody Mary. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We loved the atmosphere, made you feel like you were in a boat house.
