10/29/24 Decided to get a family meand drive to Popeye's Rice Restaurant.That's in Garland Texas offer broad view.Since it was close to walmart where i've been shopping , so I went through the drive through to order a family meal, was told to wait on side No, problem. Then the wait time got longer and longer. So the proceeded to enter the store waited at the counter. Watch the manager and crew clean the floors, wipe the cabinets.
I asked a young gentleman behind the counter that I'm here to pick up my order because I've been waiting outside for a long time.
He proceeds to pack my order.. While waiting I noticed the manager after cleaning and wiping down counters and doing the floors with no gloves takes a bag of food that was sitting on the counter, opens the bag to view each item and touch each item with her hands open the container of mashed potatoes , the biscuits and the large box of chicken. After touching and reviewing each item in the bag, the manager Sara then perceives to place the food that she opened and touched back into the bin To be recycle With the other food. Remember And I stated it before she was cleaning The floors and the cabinets with no gloves!!! Never once step away , washed her hands and put on gloves While dealing with food!!!! So I Ask her loudly what is wrong With the chicken that you have to touch and put it back and Recycle with the other FOOD!! That manager god snappy with me! And proceed to ask her the same thing three times but she has refused to answer and walk away. So here I am now listing and review and complaint! I've already contacted the manager there.He apologized, but still it makes me wonder how long that this female manager has been doing that and also other employees Recycling food after it's been touched by their dirty hands .Do they lead by her- Sara ( store manger) example?? So if you're going to order food from this place. My advice is to go in watch and prepare your food or Or don't even order here or get food here, Cause you never know, someone could be sick and touch your food and recycle it back from the previous order. And now your sitting at your dinner table and your family's about to eat it.!!!

I'm a little shocked by the bad reviews, as I have visited this specific location multiple times without incident. My job takes me all over the area and Popeyes is usually a go-to place for me. And I have experienced some REALLY bad ones too. The crew that is in there now has been EXCEPTIONAL in my last three visits (August 2024). Attentive, helpful, eager to please - so different from other fast food locations, even other Popeyes locations. My only complaint is that they need to make it easier to get extra gravy. I do not like their sauces, but I love their gravy for dipping. Make it a menu option!
UPDATE: Went back there after a long work day and grabbed food for the family. Drove all the way home to find out the biscuits were hard as a rock - hockey pucks. They were stale - no telling how long they had been sitting out. Everything else was fresh and tasty, but one item ruins the experience. Come on guys, you can do better. Check the food often. Nothing worse than getting home and having bad or missing food. Its not like you have 100 menu items.
First off, I ordered 3 pieces of meal with mashed potatoes.. the chicken tasted like it was frozen for weeks dark brown .. mashed potatoes had barely any gravey on it and the some what gravy I got was all watery.. I would not waste my money here at Garland Broadway Popeyes ever again..

They told me it was a wait on chicken which was not an issue and to pull in the parking lot. Nobody came out with the order. I drove back around to the window and the order wasn't prepared after waiting 10 min. I get home and the chicken is half cooked.
Bad service always forgets to put something in bag always a wait for certain food.overall not worth going to.
So much was wrong with my order through Uber Eats it's ridiculous. The fries were dry and cold, they did not put the ranch dipping sauce for the wings, the kids meal literally came with a drumstick in a box; no fries, no toy, no drink, no squeeze applesauce. (I had to look at my order history and saw that this location did this to me on July 20th as well).......I wanted to tip the delivery person but she did not have common sense and she put my order so close to my door that I could not open my door to get my order. Since there wasn't any sticky tape on the top securing the lid it, ended up falling over and spilling. This is probably the same location that left the same stuff out of my order last time. I called the store and the guy was clearly too busy to talk and did not seem interested in helping or apologizing. If you are short staffed or too busy why answer the phone? This place I will order in person from now on or not at all.
I will never come back here! They tried to upcharge me for substituting the apple sauce for fries on the kids meal. They lied, they didn't charge me a substituting price! They just charged me a regular price for a side of fries! Thieves!
I placed an online order. I get to Popeyes only for them to tell me it will be a 6 min wait on Spicy tenders. Then he asked me to park around front. I said since I'm waiting 6 mins already can you please make sure the fries are fresh.He said sure thing. 10 mins later food comes out chicken is fresh. But tasted like it had been cooked in old grease. Then the fries were soggy & cold. Makes no sense why I didn't get fresh fries. Sadly, the food went straight in the trash. Only thing I ate was the biscuit. What a waste of money.
i ordered tenders and sandwhich and never got my sandwhich and when i called them, they hung up on me and disconnected their phone… i have my receipt and everything, i have never dealt with such rude service.. worst popeyes i have ever been too
