Typical restaurant that doesn't give you everything you order.

Went in to order instead of drive thru. Order just one classic sandwich and a med drink. The car that pulled through the drive and the lady that ordered after I had placed my ordered both recieved thier orders before I did. The drive through ordered 5 classics and the lady ordered 3 classic sandwiches. It was then another 6 minutes before I recieved my order, almost 12 minutes in all to wait for ONE sandwich. So much for fast food. Totally unacceptable in my view. I am confused as to why two larger orders would be filled ahead of my single sandwich. Plus it was over $9 for just a drink unsweetened tea, and a sandwich. Plus I told the clerk it was to go and there were no napkins in the sack. It would be common sense to add at least one napkin!! I guess common sense and customer service is a thing if the past. Charge as much as the market will take and don't worry about service.

I was at this location a week prior to this visit (10/23/2024). The service and atmosphere were outstanding for my first visit. This time was an exact opposite. When I arrived a customer was arguing with the manager over a refund that apparently can only be paid by corporate. I ordered four 3pc tender combos. The order was placed at 11:26am according to the receipt. I received my order at 11:55am. It was not even being prepared until approximately 20 minutes after I ordered. One of the orders had not even been cooked yet which was picked up by listening to the server. When I got back with our meals I found that two of the combos had no fries or biscuits. A side of Cole slaw was missing and there were no honey condiments as requested. All of which was listed on the receipt and obviously billed. Based on my observations upon my arrival any contact and discussion with the store would be a complete waste of time. Especially since we wasted our actual lunch period waiting for the meals. Don’t waste your time here!

I have always enjoyed Popeye's, but! when we got home, my wife opened the box which was to contain 8 tenders only to find 8 biscuits. We live too far to return them, so we will have to cross off this location from our list of preferred restaurants. Very disappointed.

Love that chicken at Popeyes!! Love the biscuits too! I had an apple pie for the first time and it was superb. But when you pay 40 bucks, you want what you paid for, and in this case, our large side of red beans and rice turned out to be 99% rice and tablespoon and a half of smashed beans, in a laughably small container-albeit the largest container available. So, I gave them 3 stars out of the goodness of my heart.

I ordered online an hour before closing and when the dasher got there they said they don’t have anything for her, it’s too close to closing. Like really. Do your job.

I worked here for about 2 years, started off as a crew member for $14 an hour. Then got moved up to manager position promised $18 an hour. I worked for 4 months at this location as a manager busting my ass , pulling 60-65 hours a weeek because of how short staffed the store was , come to find out I was still making $14 an hour not getting my full pay that was agreed on. Clauida “ fired “ me and really transferred me to the south bend location on Lincoln way at $17 an hour. I still haven’t gotten paid for my work in south bend and missing all my pay for the 4 months working in Popeyes in Elkhart. I’ve reached out to aby (the owner of this store ) and he still has not replied or even offered to pay me the money I am owed by his business. I’ve reached out to clauida ( one of the big bosses) and she just leaves me on read. Clauida has made agreements and etc with me and now is going back on them to “ save her own ass and job” she said if she pushes them “ she’d lose her job as well”.. I really just want what I’m owed and missing.

Be careful. After the crew that open this location left. This new team is finding ways to cheap out. I ordered an online order for 5 pieces and only got four. Subtle, but caught!

This place should be ashamed of their business ethics. The employees were careless of customer service, as I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru I seem 3 vehicles drive off due to the wait tome

Chicken old and hard always out of 2 or more sides

This establishment is absolutely HORRID! I wouldn’t accept free food from them or if they paid me to eat here. They LOVE to waste tax payer dollars by calling the police over CHICKEN! The police are probably just as annoyed as the customers. They get your order wrong, and then when you come back to ask for a refund or correction in your order they deny and call the police to try and make you leave. Sickening service, sickening staff members. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I love their Mac n cheese

Ordered a 5 piece tender meal, the outsides were crispy and the insides were chewy like jerky. The tenders seemed to be cooked through, but at the incorrect temperature/uneven heating, or maybe just old meat. They also don't seem to have a double check/verify system for mobile orders, they got my side size wrong and I had to ask for my drink. About to take my business to Chic Fil A when it opens soon.

The place was amazing. The biscuits were not dry. Tables are clean and the service was fast.

Well, I wish I could rate more than just the service. My husband and I came into this establishment a short while ago. After standing at the front counter for about 8-10 minutes, a lady that was assisting with drive thru approached us, and asked if we had been helped. I responded with no not yet, she then responded with that's great. Then proceeded to turn her back on us and started shuffiling things around behind her. 😳 My husband at this point was past hungry stated he was about to walk out, and that's just what we did...(your welcome) Just stating if you can't handle the customers in your lobby, and your drive thru you should only run your drive thru and lock the doors! Rude is tolerated where it's allowed!
