On 2-3-24 waited in drive-thru line for 25 minutes and I was the 3rd car to be served. Got up to order and waited another 5 minutes just to be told they are closed. Not the 1st time being disappointed with this location or would not have spent time leaving this review. Stay away from this location until they get it together....
I have been to Popeyes all over this county and this place is a S..t show. Waited over a half hour and didnt even get our food. When we asked about it they first said it was getting made then the supposed manager on duty said they were filling door dash orders. We asked for a refund and that was a whole other issue. Bathroom had standing water and place was a mess. Never seen a place ran so poorly with workers that continued to walk out and sit it there car while we never got food but drive thru and door dash did
I ordered the big box which was online for $6.99 2 pcs and 2 sides and biscuit. Lady at the drive thru said it was $8.39 and 1 side. I had already waited at the drive thru for 10 min so I said fine. Then she called a manager inly to find out I was right. Then I ordered a 3 piece chicken finger combo with fries. I have spent 20 minutes in this drive through by the time I get my order. I get home 25 min away only to find I have NO sides only chicken and 2 biscuits. I call the number in my receipt 5 times before someone answers. I ask for a manager and she says she is one but can I hold she puts the phone down 5 minutes later the phone just hangs up. I call back again and no one answers. Beyond fristrated
I saw all the ads for the 5 different wings at Popeyes, so I went to the East Peoria store sunday at 11 am to get some wings, pull up to the speaker and they tell me they are out of wings, I ask why, they just opened, and they tell me sorry, we are out of wings. So I drive away with nothing, then I go to the Popeyes in Peoria on Knoxville, same thing, they were out of wings, they would not say why, and they just said sorry we are out of wings. It's ridiculous, why do all the ads for them if you are not going to have them, and on football day you would think they would have a truckload of wings, and you would be wrong, they did not have any. Update: 1-8-24 - Went back to the Popeyes in East Peoria yesterday and they still did not have any chicken wings. I even went inside and asked for them, and the lady in the black hair said they did not have any. When I asked why they had all the signs and ads for wings, all she would say is sorry we do not have any wings. I said this is ridiculous, and walked out. I called the Popeyes in Peoria on Knoxville and they had wings, so I had to drive over there to get them. This place should be closed, they do not deserve to have the Popeyes name, they are the worst Popeyes I have ever seen.
