Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

Kiddos wanted chicken and I wanted something besides CFA. We got a 16-pc tenders family combo and 1/2 lb of pocorn shrimp through the drive through. The person on the speaker box let us know the shrimp would be a 5 minute wait. Fine. I'm not in any sort of hurry... it's actually the end of our day. We relaxed, pulled a little ahead of the pickup window. Spent a little over $50 for the four of us. We went home, and opened everything up and our popcorn shrimp was completely forgotten (wth did we wait for??) and had a 15-pc chicken, instead of 16. I drove back and was given the popcorn shrimp, TWO chicken tenders, and an extra biscuit. If that had been where our experience ended, this review would have four stars. Customer service was great... smiles, easy, and painless. But we ALL got sick from the food. Nobody felt good after. One bite of the mashed potatoes and no one ate anymore. The biscuits were very dry and difficult to eat without a lot of water. Thank goodness the chicken was edible, but the shrimp were... chewy?? Most of our meal went out to the trash. We were all disappointed and will not be ordering here again. Again, the people were amazing, but quality was just NOT there.

This location seems to have a very greasy coating on the lobby floor

Foods are a bit salty. Other than that, everything is fine.

I found a black hair in my box of chicken when I got home. I spent $57 on the family meal and drove two hours away just to get some good chicken and that failed. There goes my money and my food for my family. They were really rude in tone and acted like it was the worse place to be in. NEVER again. Disgusting….

Terrible location, its really not that hard to provide a clean environment. Under staffed and food quality has slipped tremendously since opening

Definitely a hit or miss place. They were spot on today. Food was piping hot fresh service was very nice. Could have been cleaner. Definitely management issues. Needs a good working manager. All Indians and no chief. Once again food was great. They kind of skimped on the rice and beans. Most of the Popeyes I go to in bigger cities are like this. But this is a bigger city and cleanliness is a big deal. Staff has time to talk about management I would think they have time to clean. Food is great when fresh. Everything else has much to be desired! I hope they fix it hate to see them go.

Twice in the span of a week this location forgot my chicken sandwich while using the drive thru. Had to park and go in to retrieve my forgotten food. Update: Recently placed an order for pick up that wasn't even started on until I walked into the place. They claimed it just came in. No apologies, no attempt to resolve the problem, just expected to wait. And they were out of two other items I ordered. Nice job with inventory control and basic customer service.... this location is the worst and should be avoided.

Food was ok but we waited for 35 minutes and when we got home were missing items and had no sauces for our chicken.

Don't know how this place is still open. VERY rude staff, I have never encountered a place where the staff is so rude and miserable. Won't ever be going back.
