Great little find, lovely landlady, cheap drinks and free music in the cosiet atmosphere

Hit and miss in past,... but NY eve afternoon with live band... most excellent!

Surprisingly wonderful. Can give words but better if you come and listen, dance and drink. How unexpected.

Poole Hill Brewery is a rare and beautiful thing...consisting of a micro brewery, producing and selling fine Southbourne ales in what must be described as a 'proper' pub. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, particularly at weekends with outstanding acoustic music where participation is encouraged. It's more than a pub it's a community...a flavor of the days of old. The proprietors have achieved something very special here!

Had to pop in after seeing it advertised on the High Street. I love a micro brewery and it was good fun. I didn't have any food but had a couple of the stouts. I recommend the stroller stout, it had notes of chocolate and was delicious. The bar lady recommended us a drink and let us try before we buy which is a bonus. She was welcoming and I'm just sad I couldn't stay for the open mic night! It seemed like it was getting busier and was a local favourite.

Amazing beer. Amazing music. Amazing people.
