The ribeye I had wasn't very good. It was stringy & quite fatty. I also don't understand it being topped with onion rings with a side of au jus. The staff was awesome! They're very friendly & attentive even when it was busy. I will be returning very soon to give their ribs a taste. I'll keep you posted on that.
Awesome place! Great food and really cool environment. Chef special on Sundays is an amazing deal.
Pitch's is a family favorite for over 40 years. Delicious ribs, great bar, in a great location between River West and Brady Street.
Went to Pitch's as we are traveling around the state trying out all its' supper clubs. Pitch's was on the list and didn't disappoint. Service was absolutely incredible. The wait staff consistently checked on us and made sure our glasses were filled and needs met. With ribs being advertised as their specialty i went thinking the dining room would be far more casual than it was. The dining room was very clean, with proper linens and such. The food was good but I would not describe it as great. I had the trio which included ribs, shrimp and sicilian breaded steak. the ribs were excellent, the shrimp was good, but I felt the steak could have used seasoning. That being said, I have never had sicilian steak before so I could be off on my assessment. One of our party asked if they had any specialty olives for their drink and the waitress said she could stuff some olives with blue cheese for us. Wow, who volunteers anymore? I would venture a guess that most places would have said no. The prices were also very reasonable for what we had. Finally, we asked to have our picture taken with the owner, Jimmy Picciurro, the third generation owner, and we had a short chat with him. He was very polite and accommodating. We've had other owners who have seemed to be put out by the request. We will be going back. Thanks Pitch's.
One of our favorites....Jimmy runs a great place .
Love the Sicilian breaded pork chop, always tender and flavorful. My favorite when I go there.
We are in Milwaukee visiting our family here. We found Pitch's in a walk around the neighborhood and went that evening. What a great find! It was a throwback to fine dining. Sinatra music in the background, attentive staff. We went on Friday when they have Fish specials on the menu. The price is on the moderately higher side, but the food was good. We enjoyed a relaxing meal in a nice neighborhood spot. Dietary restrictions: The kitchen was able to accommodate requests to leave sauces and butter off of items Kid-friendliness: Not really a place to bring young kids, but they found us a place to change our six-month old grandchild.
