Pistachio Cafe 2

They don't put prices on anything, pastry-wise, so don't be surprised if you get to the register and 2 slices of cake and a single coffee is $30 (which happened to me yesterday). I didn't see prices on their brunch menu as well. Quality is great, and the atmosphere is an atmosphere, but it is deceptive not to have pricing on anything. I understand the reasoning is for more impulse buys, but I won't be returning for this reason because I like to know the cost of what I'm getting without having to ask for it (and hold up the line, which was long). Lesson learned on my end. If you are, however, a rich Yale student/Yale student's family, you'll love it.

Beautiful place inside. Was disappointed in the dessert I picked and so were my companions. But would still go there for a cup of coffee ☕

The desserts and coffee were so delicious and the service was excellent. My server Andres was so attentive and helpful made the experience worth it.

Disappointed in my first trip to this Cafe. My to stay cup of $6 Latte was not only serves in a paper to go cup but was cold. Not quite sure how something just made could be cold. Thank goodness there are plenty of other cafes to try out next time.

The food and atmosphere are amazing. The service on the other hand was not welcoming. We were told in a rude manner that next time we are not allowed to sit at a table if we are only having coffee and desert - at a cafe ! Even though the hostess sat us without any issues due to there not being a long wait. The coffee also took 20-30 minutes.

Pistachio is a very cute cafe with a nice atmosphere and I will go back again, but probably just for coffee and I would love to try some pastries. I enjoyed my cappuccino and my friend enjoyed hers as well. I’ve ordered food here on two separate occasions and been disappointed both times. I ordered a turkey panini and it came with barely anything inside. They forgot to add the cheese and when I mentioned it they brought a plate of cold cheese for me to put on myself. The side of potatoes was also cold.

Wonderful ambience and food. Their quiche is delicious. It is a little pricey. Service is a little slow

The vibe is great, the drinks are good, but the desserts are so off. The first time I got a dessert from the first location, it was amazing. I just ordered a dulce the leche mini cake ($14) and it tastes like I was made a week ago. The frosting good but dang the cake itself is drier than the Sahara and the dulce de leche is not even real, it's like a liqueur syrup. I asked a worker if we would be able to switch it out but he said because we ate the frosting, that he can't let us. So sad. If you get a dessert, definitely don't get the dulce de leche mini cake :(

A very amazing place! It reminds me of high tea fused with a chill tea room. The best of both worlds and the environment was laid back yet sophisticated at the same time. We were on a double date, and it was the perfect spot to end our evening. We all tried a variety of pastries, and I had the turmeric Chai-it was wonderful. The macaroons were well made and there was a wide variety of flavors to choose from, my favorite from the 6 was the chocolate spread macaroon. The carrot cake was good, but the cake itself was a touch on the dry side. I can't wait to come back with a book or my laptop and enjoy another beverage and pastry! Highly recommend going to experience the fun and inviting atmosphere!
