Soup base is great for the House special. The quantity of the noodles, meat, and the side vegetables were on the smaller side. Self serve for the utensils and parking is hard to find. The menu from the QR code is like your Pho 101. Explains the Pho in great detail short of giving you a history lesson. I recommend this place for the House Special soup. Parking: Drive south on main. Park on the south side road adjacent to the building as the Main Street may be full.
Authentic and very tasty!
Best pho in SLC. So homey too
Love Mama Mai. The closest I get to food from home. A lot of so called food critics would say that the broth is not as strong as other places, I would say otherwise. I don’t taste the MSG here comparing to other places. My go to for sure.
Pho Tay Ho is the best place to go for an authentic Vietnamese Pho experience! They only serve Pho and they do it well. The broth is so rich and flavorful, and the noodles are always cooked just right. They have a variety of meats to choose from, like beef, chicken, and even tripe. The best part is that the restaurant is run by three cute Vietnamese grandmas! They are so sweet and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The only thing is that the place could really use a technology upgrade. They still use a paper and pen to take orders, but I don't mind, it's part of the charm. But if you're reading this and you have the skills to help, let me know! I'll trade you some of my skills for a bowl of Pho any day. Pho Tay Ho is my favorite Pho place, you've got to try it! You won't be disappointed.
The pho is very very good here - the broth
The perfect pho place. Great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. It's a little dingey but that's what makes it so authentic.
This is the best place to get pho in the valley! You can taste the passion and care that goes into the pho broth, and it’s inexpensive and high quality. The flavor is powerfu and always perfect. I recommend the pho with flank and steak. The fresh spring rolls, the fried spring rolls, limeade, and Vietnamese iced coffee are also wonderful. I also love how cozy it feels inside, and how kind the employees are. Also, they have signs everywhere about why service may be slow, but my in my experience the service is always very quick and efficient! I can get in, sit down, and get out in under thirty minutes when I come in for my work lunch breaks on weekdays.
