The food, service, and price is amazing & fresh
I usually dont write reviews. But this review is well needed. I have been coming here for years. Found this place roughly 15 years ago. And frequently visit with my family 1-4 times a month, and more often than not I go out of my way to come here instead of other places closer. In the past it wasn't the cleanest but the food was amazing and plentiful. You know "Diamond in the rough" kinda place... Came in today for lunch, ordered spring rolls (always my favorite) they were ........ Ok....... Got my vermicelli chicken, the bowl consisted of a small hand full of rice noodle, roughly 4 square inches of chicken, less than full 3 finger pinch of what looked like shredded lettuce and cabbage, 2 thai basil leaves, 3 strands of cilantro, some shredded carrots and peanuts. The bowl looked less than 1/2 full. I asked the lady if the portions had changed in the last month (I understand the raise in food costs). She said no. I simply said ok. I checked the menu prices and nothing seem to have changed in as far back as I can imagine. I'm guessing from some basic math..... my meal cost around 1-2 bucks given the size of what I got. In all food had great flavor just as i remember from the first time several years ago. The porportions were super disappointing. Meal was $25 + tax (water to drink) Would have been better to go get a bag of Top Ramen and add veggies for 1-2 bucks, or get a crappy burrito from the gas station I gave it one star cause the food was good, porportions were significantly less than substantial.
Pho was delicious, a little on the expensive side but bowl was very full. Had Sriracha Sauce. Server was very friendly. Odd to have them cutting meat where you can see.
I come here every once in a while, the elderly man is very nice and welcoming. I have realized that every time I order food it always comes consistant. Along with the food being consistent the service is always very welcoming. Pretty young server was very helpful in choosing my first bowl of pho to try, as I do not eat vietnamese cuisine often. Place often doesn't close at eight if they still have customers, and are very respectful for you to finish your food. Great spot to take the family out to eat as they are fast, tasty, and most of all very kind family owned resturant.
First time here and I loved it. Food was delicious and the service 5stars.
I really like the food and the guy taking our order was really nice. I plan to come back!
Initially I googled the establishment to see how busy it was as well as its menu. It claimed to have been very busy at that time and that was very confusing because on arrival it was empty aside from the employees. However, I didn't let that stop me as my goal was to enjoy something warm and comforting. Proceeded to order and ask if they had different sizes for their Pho only to find that they serve a single size portion. With my experiences at other establishments, I deferred on the side of safety and ordered some salad rolls on top of this dish in order to satisfy my hunger levels. Plus some Vietnamese coffee but I wanted a hot... For some reason their menu only showcases as cold/ iced. Once the food arrived, I realized the error of my order... The single-sized bowl of soup was larger than anticipated and I should not have gotten the additional salad rolls. By the time I had finished my tasty and enjoyable meal, I had some difficulties and discomforts walking back to my vehicle. The next time I go back I will only order the soup and maybe the coffee so I don't put myself into a food coma again.
