Best in town. Eggrolls are the BEST! PHO is superb. Noodle salads ensemble are very well balanced between meat, noodles, and veggie portions. Metered parking out front.
I went here with my wife on a Saturday afternoon. We had two egg rolls to get started. They were greasy but good. She ordered beef Lo Mein, and I ordered their Pho. Our meals came out nice and hot. She ate a piece of the meat and said it tasted like it had been warmed over.. warmed over food flavor (WOF). I tried a piece and it tasted horrible... It was inedible. She sent hers back and had the vegetable Lo Mein. The noodles were that of ramen not of an actual Lo Mein. I added the extras to the Pho and the broth tasted fine. When I tasted a piece of the chicken in the broth, it too had a warmed over flavor (WOF). We believe they are cooking the proteins ahead of time and simply adding them to the food as they stir fry or make the Pho. I definitely would only order the egg rolls. Even the Nuoc Cham seemed watered down. This is not quality food.
The food specially the Pho was amazing!
One of the better pho places in Minneapolis. The broth was aromatic and clear. My only comment is that the broth was maybe just a bit sweet but not overly sweet and was still delicious. I highly recommend the pho house special. Egg rolls were good as well.
Great & quick option for Vietnamese food in dinkytown. No dedicated parking, but that is the norm in the area. We got the wonton noodle soup and the pork chop platter - the soup broth was very tasty and all of the ingredients were good. Same goes for the rice dish - nothing extraordinary, but it was all tasty Not a place you’d come for if you’re looking for a fun atmosphere, but there wasn’t anything wrong with it. They sat us quickly and we got our food probably 5-7 min after we sat down on a decently busy night I believe we paid around $30 for the two, and we will certainly be back again! Thanks
Ordered a Tofu Bahn Mi sandwich (Bahn Mi Dau Hu) and nothing came on it. It was just tofu with bread . Very disappointed.
I like that their pho has different size options. However the "beef and potatoes" is actually "beef and chips" that is mostly chips and way too sweet
I have never had a bad experience here. I love all their food. I either get the Pho Dac Biet "House Special" or the Bun Dac Biet. The pho broth is very flavorful, sweet and salty. I never need to add anything to the broth when I order. I love the fish sauce with the Bun Dac Biet, it's the right amount of acidity and sweetness. I will never get any noodle salad elsewhere. It does not compare. The eggrolls are huge and packed with alot of meaty flavor. I also have to get a Banh Mi to go. My favorite it the Banh Mi Dac Biet. Staff is great and service is fast and easy. Definitely recommend!
