Went here recently with my boyfriend and was unexpectedly surprised with how great the food was. They are extremely generous with meat portions and the broth was rich and savory. The staff were kind and helpful with ordering. The only con is that they only take cash, they even have an atm in their restaurant and the decorations are extremely dated. I thought it was somewhat sketchy but regardless I had a very enjoyable experience and plan on going again. It was very busy at the time I went around lunch hour 12-1pm but the order came out fast!
The owner or the chef does not know why the other pho 75 is crowded. Someone who loves pho does not need put sauces in the soup but wants the deep refreshing taste of itself. They do not need a salty strong MSG tastes in the first bite and feels uncomfortable for the last of their day. The first bite should be blend at the beggining and should feel the taste inside of your body not your mouth with salt, msg, sriratcha, and the other sauces. Please do not listen to someone who needs a strong taste without a knowlege but please just follow other 75's. Will check this out after a few month for the last time, if not improved.
Hey, the pho was alright, I enjoyed it. But guess what? They only take cash, can you believe that? So, make sure you have some cash on you next time. Oh, but there's an ATM right next to the counter, so that's probably why their prices are a dollar cheaper than other pho places. They should offer options to pay with credit cards even if it's a dollar more expensive.
Im used to going to the one in Falls Church or Rockville where everythings great. EDIT: Meat tastes better second time I went. But broth seemed a bit watered down compared to the other locations. SECOND EDIT: Its the dead of winter and they have a fly issue. Literally a dozen flies just buzzing around on the wall behind me. Dropping down to 2 stars. **Everyone complaining it's cash only, needs to know that's all PHO 75 locations in the DMV. There's a Navy Federal ATM literally in front of the Pho 75, yall just lazy**
