This is the second time I’ve come to Peruvian Brothers at La Cosecha . The first time I ordered Lomo Saltado and the dish was just meat and rice with French fries. It was a disaster!!! This time I ordered (decided to give the place a second chance) Pan con Chicharrón and Chicha Morada. Another disappointing experience ! The Chicha was watered down and had no taste. The Pan con Chicharrón was dry. The onions were raw, not the regular “Sarsa criolla” that usually comes with it. The pork had no taste.or salt and seemed that was boiled instead of fried .
Overall, it was another dissatisfying experience and bad representation of tPeruvian food .
I have been to this place twice. The first time I ordered ceviche and lolo saltado. The beef was totally overcooked and very dry. The second time I came with kids. I ordered 4 lomo saltados, beef empanadas and picarones. I asked the staff, looking into their eyes « please do not overcook the beef ». They saw me with the kids. When the food arrived, the beef was absolutely overcooked, hard and dry. No meet flavor. You get the flavor from the sauce, which they made with powder beef broth. And they added hot chili sauce. Hot Chili sauce is NOT in the traditional Peruvian recipe. My kids of course didn’t eat. I told the staff and they couldn’t care less. They knew their lomo saltado (and theirs only) had spicy hot sauce but it just didn’t occur to them that a client with kids doesn’t want that. So the food is bad, the staff is uninterested in their job, and everything I put in my mouth was dry and distasteful, including empanadas, alfajores and picarones. It’s a pity, because Peruvian food is heaven and this place degrades it.
I am dissatisfied and disappointed with this restaurant. I have order by DoorDash but I had to wait for over 2 hours, and then the order was canceles. I tried to call them several time. Nevertheless, the restaurant never pick the phone up.
Beef empanada was delicate and the spice was very well balanced So good!
Pretty good sandwich. Hot sauce tho: amazing.
I only got the beef empanadas and yuka fries—beef empanadas🔥🔥 Yuka fries were not good to me, I’m sure if you like yuka (which I never had) then you may like them, but I did not. The food was inexpensive and the service was nice. The atmosphere was noisy and vibrant because of the surrounding businesses but it wasn’t obnoxious.
This place was amazing. The chicken sandwich was so well seasoned and bursting of flavor. My kids loved the picarones❤️
I’m not really understanding the reviews, this place is amazing. We had 1/2 chicken, lomo saltado, chicken sandwiches and a chicken empanada and everything was perfection nothing greasy and Ingrid help us perfectly fine
Tienes un servicio espectacular! Compre una sorpresa a un amigo por su cumpleaños y me ayudaron en todo!! The best surprise! Peruvian food! Gracias chicos! Tienen mi admiración! ❤️❤️
Greasy food and bad service.... This place unfortunately is not worth it.
My mom is Peruvian so I know good Peruvian food and, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I ordered my favorite dish, lomo saltado, and it was not only NOT authentic, it was not tasty at all. I friend got the spinach empanada and it was pretty bad as well. My friend ordered another dish as well but I can't remember what it was and she did not care for it either. I would never eat here again. Such a shame - it was a nice venue.
A pleasant surprise to find this tucked in the corner. The food was delicious.
Love this place, fav is the yuca fries and the locoto sauce. Will be back soon!
I thought I was in Lima

Chicken is fine. Rice majorly bad. Ceviche a bit overpriced. 1 star due to rude cashier. With so many other great places, I can’t imagine this restaurant surviving. Best of luck.
Ordered a vegan beef empanada & alfajor. Empanada was over cooked 💔 the alfajor made up for it a little. $11 in total, 2/10 food.
The staff are so friendly, and whenever I'm at La Cosecha I have to get an empanada here. They're baked rather than fried, and they even have an impossible meat one for vegetarians. Look forward to trying more of their menu items next time I'm there!
