Always brilliant for Dim Sum

Easily the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Visiting the area for an event our family happened across this wonderful gem. They had something for everyone including the vegetarians and fussier children in our party. If we are ever this way again we will certainly be back. 100% recommend. Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegetarian options but if unsure the staff are incredibly helpful

Life changing Chinese food. I am a legit/authentic Chinese food afficiando and this is the best Chinese I've had anywhere. Also cheap somehow. Got Singapore noodles (Mei fun), diet Coke, crispy squid and char siu bao. Wow. sort of amazed they sell dim sum at normal dinner time. Too bad I was traveling to and from Wales and have no reason to come back here normally. Total bill was 21 GBP. The chilli oil was also amazing.

Had a lovely meal at Peony restaurant in Newcastle-under-Lyme recently, where the dim sum truly impressed me. The quality was so good, it reminded me of the authentic flavours you'd find in London's Chinatown. However, there was a bit of a letdown when it came to paying. Despite signs suggesting card payments were accepted, we were informed at the end that it was cash only. It's a bit of a hiccup that might hold me back from returning soon. I'm all for giving credit where it's due, and the food here is fantastic, but I'm hopeful they'll sort out the payment issue quickly. Once that's done, I'll be more than happy to come back for more of their delicious dim sum!

Authentic delicious Chinese food (tried their Sichuan cuisine and probably one of the best in the UK), very warm service and price is super reasonable comparing to Chinese restaurants in other places of the UK
