Delicious ice cream, we loved the cider donut sundae! Reasonable prices with lots of outdoor seating
Overall, the place is nice. Nursery looks like it has healthy plants. The restaurant, on the other hand, has a lot to be desired. My wife and I came for something light. So she ordered a bowl of clam chowder, and I ordered a bowl of chili. What came was horrible. The clam chowder had little clams and other ingredients. Basically, it's a creamy substance. The chili came burned. Clearly stayed in the pot all day. Once cooked, it should be set aside. When ordered, the portion should be heated in a pan on the stove and not microwave. The service was excellent. The server was patient and attentive. Don't go there for food.
I’ve come up here quite a few times to pick up fresh fruit, baked goods, and of course, fudge. I’ve never had the food however that’s inside there, and it was a very good experience. my wife and I shared a bowl of mac & cheese and they had lumpia which wasn’t unexpected treat. Someday I’ll come here for the full food experience, but for now I guess I’ll have to enjoy all of the other foods that they bake and sell.
Disgusting rude lady threw out our sweet dog that is very well behaved on his birthday
FYI Pet owners-- this is NOT a pet friendly farm, in case you were considering the trip. Unfortunately we drove a long way for nothing. Saw the sign when we pulled in. My husband, with our baby Beagle , stood outside the fence while I asked the woman watering flowers in the outdoor garden center area why no pets were allowed, and she said they serve food. (Funny, we take our dog to dog friendly outdoor restaurants all the time. ) When I asked if we could just look at the flowers for a minute because I really wanted to purchase, I was told "no pets allowed on the premises." Very surprised.
Lots of pet friendly farm stands and outdoor restaurants where we are from in PA.
