Penn Station East Coast Subs

The subs were excellent...got a Philly cheese steak and a Italian..they tasted so fresh...the fries weren't nearly as good...ours were in little small fries and they were really brown...some of them hard...the lemonade was soooo good ..I wanted a half gallon of it and the manager wouldn't sell it..she said they didn't know when another truck was coming so she couldn't sell that...but we was able to buy 2 of the large size lemonades...which of course costed more..we will be back to get some more subs though!! I'm passing on the fries...they wasn't worth the price to me..

The man that took our order acted like we were bothering him. Leaning against the counter, never smiled or even said hi

I ordered the food and after 45 minutes of waiting for it to get here and I know that’s not penn’s fault but none of my food was in the bag just my drink, why would I order just a drink and pay 22 dollars for food I didn’t receive. Dissatisfied with everything.

The food is almost always good. I love every hot sub they make and the bread is like a piece of warm carbohydrate heaven. The fries with salt and malt vinegar are county fair worthy at a better price. The service is usually slow, but very good.I don't mind waiting because I watch them make it fresh and I know that takes time. This particular time there was no one waiting when I got there which has never happened. There were 4 employees up front which is at least 1 more than I usually see. As soon as I walked in I turned to look at the menu board far from the register to make it very obvious that I wasn't ready to order so that no one felt rushed to get to me. A younger guy maybe 25 or 26 and a bit unkempt steps up to the register and without even looking at me and staring straight at the ground started saying something literally out of the side of his mouth. I assumed he couldn't be attempting to address me and continued to look at the menu board. He then raises his voice and looks at me and says to me " Sir..I said can I get a name " but in a tone that just said " Sir I hope you choke on whatever you order and wreck on the way home " ..I then proceeded to try to place an order and he cut me off at every sentence. It was like it was a contest that he was having with himself to see if he could think of something to ask me before I finished each sentence. Anyway..he won that contest and I moved to the end to pay. The girl didn't know how to take process my Google Pay on her end. Another girl finally came over and processed it. I sat down and started looking on my phone as I usually do til they call my name. Since I ordered 2 grilled sandwiches I figured it would be 5 or 6 minutes because like I saulid they make everything to order. Maybe 45 seconds later she called my name. Anyway the food was about as good as I expected it to be after getting it so fast. I must say though this is not my usual experience at this location. Will definitely give them another shot.

The best Philly ever!

I come back every once in awhile because it’s one of the only locations in the area but I’ve yet to walk into this location where the employees aren’t screaming at each other. I keep hoping it’ll change but somehow the crew gets nastier. The front cashier was saying “on god I’ll walk out right now” because customers came in asking for food. I can’t even ask for my food that was made wrong to be fixed because they’ll probably throw things at me. The cashier with the tortoise glasses was the only one being decent.
