When we last lived in Cambridge 20 years ago the Peking was a find. Although its moved location since the food was just as memorable and authentic. Great squid starter along with dim sum, with sauces that matched the dish. The prawn dishes were wonderful (check out the one with the crispy rice). The service was at a pace which made you enjoy the food even more. We were even given a parking spot right outside the restaurant. This is how a meal out should be. The only surprise was it was quiet, although it was a week day, and we were still well looked after. Parking: There are a few spaces right outside the restaurant. Just pop in and ask.
I don't like posting a negative review but this place was dead on a Friday night. Not a single other customer. The staff are friendly and the food isn't bad. When it came to payment they had no signal for the card machine and I had to walk to a cash machine to get cash. I couldn't recommend it as a fun night out but I hope business picks up.
Food was good. Staff was friendly.
Possibly the best Chinese restaurant in Cambridge
They were happy to accept an order via deliveroo and then tell them it had been delivered when it clearly was never going to be prepared by them on the bank holiday. Wasted an hour sorting this mess out and getting a refund. An ok restaurant to visit in person but avoid ordering from them online.
