wow definitely the most independent Peet's, and makes me wonder if it's just the city culture... Because its sister store on the other side of the Pasadena has the most unfriendly barista. Came in on a late Monday afternoon for a cup of coffee. Not much greetings from the barista and the lady behind the counter. There's only one brewed/dropped coffee which I did not like and decided to order an espresso after one sip. Should've asked for a sample first. Nonetheless, neither of them cares about how I feel about the coffee, nor the coffee is. Both quickly went to the back room and saw no more. P.S. the Las Hermanas is on the high end of the "bright" side (sour taste) and no nutty tone. Should've asyk for something else. But then again, the barista already states that they only serve what's from the machine. And this place doesn't seem like the kind of place that will offer a pour over. So disappointed (with the staff, only).
Great coffee and service.
Great coffee. Parking: Nice outdoor seating.
Why are employees wearing masks? Masks are filthy and should be nowhere near food. They also make workers look unfriendly and impersonal. Masks don’t work and should be banned unless a doctor provides a specific note.
Coffee great, but service was not attentive, and staff wasn't very warm and inviting, won't go back
