Peacock Diner

Loved the breakfast and vibe of the Peacock. Service was friendly and quick. Even played a round of skee-ball after dinner.

Classic diner faire Vegetarian options: It's diner stuff. Everything has meat except for grilled cheese Wheelchair accessibility: Some tables have removable chairs and could accommodate a wheelchair.

I love the food and the atmosphere. Friendly staff!! I brought my best friend with me that lives in St. Ann. We really enjoyed ourselves. Parking: Across the street. Kid-friendliness: They love the games!

Update: We came in with a group of 12 the Tuesday before Easter. I was expecting it to be as good as before and to my surprise, it was better! This place is a hidden gem. The service is amazing and friendly. That is something almost impossible to find these days. The food is so good and the quality is impeccable. My entire family was impressed. We will be back very soon Great Serivce, Great food. It's like a step up from other diners as you can tell they actually make the food instead of just opening a bag. I had the slinger with chili and my wife had chicken strips. The slinger was perfect. The star was the chili. You could tell it was homemade. My partner's chicken strips were seasoned well and tender and juicy. I was happy NOT to see chicken wings as you can get them almost anywhere. Our friend got their special which was a burger with candied bacon on it! I didn't taste it but he said it was really good. They have the skinny fries which aren't my favorite but they were seasoned well too. Will def be back.

I've never written a negative review before today. Peacock is supposed to open at 8:00am. No one came to the door until 8:05 although we could see the worker on the phone as we waited outside. No apology or acknowledgement they were late opening, or smile. Ordered our food at 8:13. By 8:51, it still wasn't ready. 38 minutes and still no food! 4 adults & 4 kids. Easy order. We were the only people there aside from one person with coffee at the bar. Asked for 2 orders of biscuits and gravy and were told the biscuits weren't ready yet because they make them fresh every day. Asked for 2 orders of "very berry pancakes" which is supposed to have fresh raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries. Were told they only had blueberries and that the truck wouldn't be there with strawberries until the afternoon. Coffee was awful. After about 35 mins of waiting, we asked how much longer it would be. The server said they were just finishing the potatoes. So we asked if they could bring out everything except for the potatoes and she told us that they were still cooking everything else while waiting for the potatoes, and that it would be "just a few more minutes." Never in my life have I asked for a refund and left. Unfortunately, today I had to. We will not be returning. Don't open at 8am if two breakfast items from your limited menu will not be available at opening. It's a diner. If we'd waited until the "fresh" biscuits were ready, we still couldn't get strawberries for the $15 pancakes (for kids). If we'd waited to order b&g until the truck arrived with berries in the afternoon, the biscuits would no longer be fresh.

Great place to eat and you also can get an early morning wake up drink wink wink.

The milkshake was the best I’d ever had. The food was pretty good and great that it was open so late on the weekend.

Delicious breakfast great cheese omelette and Texas toast and my husband got the brunch burger with fries … what a delicious start of the day

First, to the positive points. I liked the atmosphere in the diner and the food was good and came in a timely fashion. The service was ok. BUT the diner was very dirty when I came in in the morning. One had to look around to find seating without old food on the floor, and the tables needed to be cleaned, too. I had to ask for the table to be wiped down because the waitress didn't notice the dirt. This dampened my experience, and while the food was good, I will not go there again.
