Always a good time!

I’ve been coming here since it opened as Nate and CG’s. They made some renovations to the inside and finally got rid of that terrible DJ, but the service still leaves a lot to be desired. Last time I was there (Friday, December 29th), I went to watch the Purdue basketball game against Eastern KY. The game was due to start at 7pm. We arrived early, somewhere between 6-6:30. After waiting for, what felt like, 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me (they weren’t busy and I was at the bar with 2 bartenders working), I was told that they didn’t have the Big 10 network. Not sure how you can call yourself a sports bar in Indiana if you don’t subscribe to the Big 10 network. We went somewhere else. Edited to include: I realize some of the Purdue games this season are only available on Peacock, however, this was not one of them. I have Peacock and am able to watch those games at home. I am adding another star because the owner reached out to me and I appreciate those efforts.

Went for the BPT, did not disappoint. Large cooked just right, kettle chips really great. Wife had Chicken wraps and onion rings, said they need a little more flavor. We will be back.

So thankful that my local watering hole remained a local watering hole during the new ownership change. I love the updates that are being done inside. The addition of live music is great! Also, the wings I had were great and I'm looking forward to trying other items off the menu. I have yet to meet the new owners in person. I've heard nothing but great things though. Thank you and I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

Patsy's Pub makes a first class breaded tenderloin. nice thickness on the pork with crunchy breading. the grilled was also thick. our sides were so salty i couldn't eat them. the onion rings so greasy we couldn't eat those either. they replaced the tots but my first tot was so salty I spit it out and affected the rest of the meal. I'd go for the tenderloin and skip the sides. our server was great.

I am hearing that this review was deleted or isn't viewable so reposting. The new owner felt that it was OK to let go of a bartender that took time off when her Mom died. That bartender was the only reason I came in on Sunday evenings because the food certainly isn't worth it. Their fries and tots somehow can't hold onto salt. Get anything with grilled chicken and it is usually overcooked. Wings are $14 and sometimes you only get 6 wings covered in more butter than sauce. No matter if you get the Philly or the Chicago beef, it's the same beef. Neither of which are accurate. Occasionally the owner will be there helping out while also making lots of noises with his nose and throat that I don't want to hear while I'm eating. Go elsewhere.
