This place gets BUSY! We got there at 5 when it opened. The gluten-free options were not labeled, but everyone there knew what we could have. The BBQ fried rice is my favorite ever fried rice and one of the best things I have ever eaten. We ordered the orange chicken (not gluten free) for my picky eater kid and it was devoured!
Good food, savoury, nice ambient, friendly staff. Portion is big, good for share with others, price is a bit more though. Parking is not convenient, but across the street, option from side of street to the parking lot.
The food was fantastic. The panang curry was 5 star. You can’t go wrong. And the staff is SO friendly.
It was almost closing time on a Friday at 9 pm. So we decided to order takeout. She had the green curry and liked it but beware it is spicy good. I had the yellow curry not spicy at all but delicious. We also ordered the veggie egg rolls. Super crispy and sooo good! Enjoy!!
We’ve a noodle soup and some noodles! The food was great!
Wow! Best green curry I’ve ever had. Incredible service to top it off.
The food taste nothing like Thai cuisine. Not like the Thai food from Bay Area (CA), Thai town in Los Angeles (CA), and definitely not Thailand. On top of the food that is not really edible, the small cup for hot water had the faint lipstick stain still, and one of our soup spoon is really worn and yellow. Btw, we ordered basic dishes: Spicy Seafood Soup (not spicy with imitation crab with a few shrimps and some fish), Crab Fried Rice (rice was mushy and cold), and Papaya Salad (sauce flavoring is oddly salty, not sour and not sweet). I’m okay with pricing of $18 per dish, but at least make it authentic and good.
We decided on this place out of the other Thai options in Flag and were sorely disappointed in all aspects. The pad see ew was somewhat flavorful but not stir-fried at all, more like a lard na. I was scandalized to find that the panang curry was filled to the brim with frozen vegetables (yes, peas, corn, diced carrots, green beans and LIMA BEANS, all frozen). The waitstaff were cold and robotic. The large portions did not make up for these shortcomings…just not a great experience overall.
we went on a monday night. the service was good and the pad thai was one of the best we’ve had!
Barbecue chicken and wonton soup, always.
