Had a really lovely afternoon tea here with my friend. The staff were welcoming , friendly, and attentive. The food was really tasty and a good selection of sandwiches and cakes.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the prolonged delay in receiving a reference response from your end being an ex employee of your company .It has been over a month since I requested a reference from you, and despite multiple reminders, I have yet to receive any acknowledgment or response. As someone who values punctuality and professionalism, I find this lack of communication highly concerning and frustrating. Not only does it reflect poorly on your reliability, but it also undermines my ability to move forward with important endeavors that rely on your reference. This delay has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, and I urge you to prioritize this matter and provide the reference at your earliest convenience. Timely communication and follow-through are essential in maintaining trust and respect in professional relationships, and I hope to see a prompt resolution to this issue.

Had a takeaway decaf latte in the morning- it was really weak and did not taste good.

Don’t waste your time! Waited 30 minutes for three drinks and three pre-sliced pieces of cake. We asked staff for an update and they screamed of incompetence nobody gave us an update and they walked around like headless chickens who had forgotten we had even ordered as it didn’t look like they could find it? Ten minutes later we left with no update and having had no service after almost 45 minutes of waiting for a very very simple order and what shocked me was the fact the cake I had ordered was sat on a plate and just abandoned! Staff were completely incompetent and we watched them stand around talking instead of fulfilling orders for almost the whole time we were there!

I don't know what has happened but the level of service and quality of the food has really deteriorated, when compared to pre-pandemic times. I went with a friend to use a Groupon voucher for their brunch menu. Both our orders were misunderstood, including the drinks which we had requested to arrive after the food and which arrived before. The staff seemed 'somewhere else'. The place wasn't at all busy, but our food took quite a time to arrive and with items missing, followed by what seemed unneccessarily confusing conversations in their attempt to explain and eventually rectify things. Very disappointing. I'd return just to see if it was one-off, and I'd have a cake next time, which I know they're good at.

Went for brunch to use a Groupon voucher we had. Unfortunately I wish we never came, I had the pancakes which came out cold and definitely were not homemade. My partner had a cooked breakfast (pre-made again) which was very bad, and ordered with toast, which never came until we’d finished our meals. Very disappointing, and terrible service. Wouldn’t come again.

Lovely place, lovely food, friendly, helpful staff

Had the best Afternoon Tea, we decided to make a day of it and come up to Cambridge. The quality of the food was fantastic, freshly made sandwiches, scones and cakes - absolutely faultless! Drinks were included too and were lovely, this made the experience a really joyful one. Staff were excellent, always very helpful and the service was efficient. Would definitely recommend, we had such a lovely day!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. Mex my pregnant girlfriend and her friend came here because it looked nice and people have said good things about it. Safe to say, we were waiting 45 minutes for our drinks alone (and when I asked about them to speed things up, THEY STILL DODNT ARRIVE!!!!!!! 10 minutes later!!!!!!) We couldn’t take no more and left!!!!!! RIDICULOUS! DO NOT GO HERE. I BEG YOU NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!! PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!

Staff were friendly but sadly the food was a let down - we ordered a selection of cakes on Tuesday afternoon - the cake was all stale and flavourless, particularly the carrot cake. So I don’t feel I would visit again.
