One the best Jooje kabab in Vancouver
The food was very delicious and very healthy, everything was fresh. I tried the "Koofteh" and "Vaziri", which includes one skewer of chicken and one skewer of minced meat kebab, and rice. Kermanshahi oil was served alongside the rice, and the food decorations were good.
We visited this newly opened restaurant and tried Ashe doogh, Ashe reshteh, Gheyme stew, ghormesabzi and promotion soup. All were amazing and tasted like homemade. Prices aren’t comparable with any similar restaurant. We liked them all and on top of that the customer service was great! The lady who served our dinner was so helpful and patient with us. Definitely will go back to support this local and family run restaurant.
Amazing home-made quality food and exceptionally friendly staff :) Coming back for sure!
This place is new to the neighborhood. Food is good and prices are very affordable, people there are very friendly. This is more like a place for take out although it has some small tables to dine in. Definitely I will come back. I ordered: 2 orders of Loghme Kebab (2 kebabs per plate and comes with rice) 1 Fesenjan (comes with rice) 1 Mast O Musir 1 Mast O Khiar 1 big meat ball (not sure the real name) And I got 3 small soups for free All this for $60, plenty for a family of 4.
Not in the usual Lonsdale strip of Persian restaurants but what a hidden gem!!!! The barg kabab was so juicy and tender and the chicken on bone was so worth the wait! What really stood out when we walked in was the variety of ready made dishes that we don’t normally see at a Persian restaurant - lentil rice, lubia polo, Persian style pasta, etc - and very fresh and clean presentation. Just note that it is primarily a takeout restaurant with very limited counter seating.
We ordered some koobideh and joojeh. The lady serving us was so delightful. I asked if some of our rice can be exchaged for hearbed rice and she was very accomodating. We even got a surprise soup with our meal which was a great symphony of sour barberies and savoury comfort of barley soup. The only thing missing was bread under the kababs. Its a favourit with our family and even though i asked for it, it got forgotten. Otherwise, perfect food.
I enjoyed the food and the great service.
Great home made taste and big portions plus friendly bunch pf people working here - new addition to already thriving Persian communities ❤️
