I was a bit skeptical because of the reviews I read online, but I was actually very impressed everything was great I have NO complaints will continue to order oh and one of the pictures is the cheeseburger pizza excellent and the other was extra cheese everything to my liking love love love!!!
Although the Special sounded like a Great Deal, having it delivered Was Not. Got my 2 medium pizzas(w/2 picked toppings)at $6.99 each+tax. Total ended up being $24.73.They automatically add delivery/driver fees, Then ask to tip the Driver!! I did enjoy the pizza & the garlic dipping sauce was a plus. I would Highly suggest picking up your own order, if you have the means. Not Faulting the store, nor Drivers, just a heads up on the price of convenience!!
Here goes nothing! My First Ever Bad review. Not that I’ve never had previous disappointments. I don’t look for perfection just want a mid tier level of service with a good product. PAPA John’s ( revere) provided neither. I ordered my pizza around 7::30pm and finally received my pizza 9:45pm. Finally got a hold of the manager, w the typical we will credit you w a veil and robotic I’m sorry. The product was absolutely horrific and trash. One slice and threw the rest in the garbage. Buyer beware!!! Told the poor delivery driver not his fault and to team up with another local pizza company. Hopefully my last negative review.
The general manager is a good dude, Had to start off saying that. But the regular on floor managers and employees are incompetent. Ordered a delivery through them to have them take my money and say we never received the orders. Mind you the same person who took my order is telling me this. The manager gives me the gms number for a situation he could’ve handled himself, ultimately making me pick up a pizza 2 hours after I ordered the delivery.
Ordered pick up and pizza was done but had to wait on wings, literally went in the car and the pizza was cold and stiff. Pizzas are pre made hanging on racks, crazy disrespectful. Literally depressing. Might as well just get dominos. Watching staff just linger around. Bad franchise owner and making papa John’s look bad and taste bad. Wings were also rubber for idk what reason but threw this food away. Will never return.
This place just opened and I was excited. I would thing that they would put a lot of effort into retaining customers but no. The first time I ordered here the food was not as tasty as I’m used to with Papa John’s restaurant. But I left it as the employees must be new and it will get better. But the second time I ordered it was worst. I ordered the cheese sticks and they gave me a small burnt pizza. There were barely any customers because I ordered it for a noon lunch. The small cheese is one thing but it being burnt makes no sense at all. It wasn’t busy, why didn’t hey just remade on for me? Do they not want to retain customers? First time same on me, second time same on you. They’re not getting a third order from me. Smh
I gave 4 star for service because the first guy I met there was really cool and helpful. Hopefully this review gets them to work on their food.
Never again!! I actually got kind of excited when Papa John's opened up near us. I was even happier when I saw that they had a cupped pepperoni pizza special. I couldn't have been more disappointed! This pizza makes Domino's look like Pizzeria Regina!! Yuck! Strange crust texture, maybe the dough didn't proof enough? Almost no sauce to speak of. The cheese was tasteless. The pepperoni was actually good, but was so unevenly distributed there were many bites with no pepperoni at all on it.
Even with an online order for in store pickup, we were the only ones standing at the counter, we weren't acknowledged right away. Not to mention the entire place just gave us a sketchy vibe.
Also a strange issue with the parking situation...take a right into a small driveway, but can access any of the parking spots because there was a big RV and another car blocking the back end of the driveway, and the other entrance to the parking lot is on the side of the building but, is a one way going in the wrong direction, so it would be very difficult to access the parking lot without legitimately going 3/4 of a mile out of the way.
Please don't waste your time or hard earned money here. There are much better places in town that deserve your patronage.
I love Papa John’s for some reason, and was very surprised to see this one opening up. I’ve been wronged many times by the Somerville Papa Johns, so was mervous about this. I got delivery, and because it was too far from my house and not in the Papa John’s delivery radius I had to use DoorDash.
DoorDash is a bad thing, but they got my pizza to me eventually. I had to reheat it a bit to get it where I wanted but that was fine. It was perfect. Wings were great, and the pizza was EXACTLY what I was hoping for. As a lover of Papa John’s pizza, this place made me very happy.
