It's going to be a long while before I get panera again. I only had the broccoli and cheese soup on june. 6 and ended up in the er that evening with a confirmed case of food poisoning, that was the only thing I had eaten all day so that was fun.
I live about 20 miles away so when I go into Richmond I like to treat myself to Panera. I will no longer go to this Broad Street location! One time they were out of apples for Fuji apple salad, next visit I ordered strawberry poppyseed salad & get home to there being NO salad dressing. Do you know how nasty strawberry salad is with ranch dressing?? I tried several times over 3 days to call & let them know what happened & NO ONE ever answered the phone & I called during slower business times!!
Very disappointed with my mango smoothie. In fact, there was no mango flavor, just tasted like yogurt. It was a waste of $6 that could have been on some charged lemonades or any other drink true to their names.
The strawberry banana smoothie had an overpowering banana flavor— still more flavor than my mango smoothie.
Besides this, the place was clean, and decor minimal. The staff sounded nice though. The value duet cost I guess is regional because it is a dollar less here ($6.99) than the Panera at my college.
