I ate the angus burger after a long day in the city and my soul left my body. 10/10. Pickle was also very good and fries were great. I’d rather eat this than “famous nyc pizza” any day of the week
We had some family get together and decided to eat dinner here since it’s near our place. Very satisfied with the food and our server is very courteous . Place is clean as expected.
Espresso martinis served with a lemon twist and a side of misogyny. Went to eat on a Sunday after being at a nearby spa. The food was delicious. Two bottles of wine later (party of 5) we asked and paid for the bill. We lingered finishing our drinks and decided to order espresso martinis before actually leaving. They were served with a lemon twist in them and we asked for a new round. The restaurant gladly offered a re-do on the house. We then asked for the bill of the drinks as one was not an espresso martini. We were told they never closed our original dinner bill despite us having the transaction noted on the card account. And there was now a service fee that previously had not been on the bill. A manager was brought over to help clarify and he told us to "smile it's Sunday" and that we were being hostile while we were only trying to find clarity. Meanwhile we had given yet ANOTHER card to pay the bill and that card and bill still wasn't given back after 30 minutes with only 2 other tables being used. Management was rude, misogynistic and disrespectful and service was lackluster.
Initially, it seemed like a convenient restaurant to eat at during my stay in the hotel. The food tasted good but it was not worth the money due to small portions and bad customer service. I got the All American Breakfast, but it wasn't worth the money because it was all sprace; two small eggs, a small hashbrown, one measly slice of bacon, and a small slice of toast was not worth $14. It all tasted nice but I felt like I was eating barbie sized food. Finally, the service was good UNTIL I paid. I put down a $20, asked for change, but my server just took the money and hid in the back. She straight up stole my $6 as an assumed tip even when I had asked for my change.
This place asked if we wanted more water we said yes and later we were told when we got the check that the water was almost eight dollars, and I flabbergasted. The lack of transparency with the prices disturbed me. Due to this I am now in debt and my credit score has plunged denying me being able to continue to live in my place of residence. This is an outrage and my disappointment is immeasurable.
The food was not good and the waiters brought us three bottles of tap water. When we received the check each bottle was EIGHT DOLLARS adding to 24$ of tap water. When we brought up this problem we were told “welcome to marriott”
The burger was alright but me and my table were not told the price of water and got 3 bottles adding to a total of 24 dollars. So about 8 dollars a bottle. We were then told “welcome to the marriott”
Absolutely amazing and great food and service ! Truly a hidden gem in teaneck nj me and my family have been going there for years !
The best thing this Marriott can do is to disassociate from this restaurant. I’m in town for a funeral and go downstairs to unwind and eat breakfast. I waited in line and as I got to the front seen people sitting at the bar. As a native New Yorker and world traveler I sit at a bar if I see others there. It is not an abnormal event. When I asked for silverware a man who I assume is the manager scolded me stating “ I should have asked someone if I could sit at the bar”. Really ?! Instead of apologizing for the chaos on the restaurant, short staff, or the several employees who came behind the bar saw me and said nothing I get a speech! I remained calm but my appetite was lost and I left the food untouched. I appreciated the hotel staff but because this is the closet dinning option I won’t be staying anymore. Sad that the bad service came from up top.
