Palao Bistrot

Our favourite restaurant in Valencia. Such delicious food -- the atmosphere is lovely. The owner is a dream. We've eaten here 5 times. I almost don't want to leave a review because I want this to be our secret!

Food was ok, atmosphere also ok, but "service" was INCREDIBLE RUDE !!! I will be specific..... While dinning I recieved a message on my phone with a short instagram video. The lady owner approached me and told me to switch it off because the restaurant had already background music..... Left me static.... I didn't know how to react and apologise for it. My phone wasn't loud or the video inapropiate. Her reaction was completely bizarre. Not enoght mid dinner she ask me to change seat and move to the other end of the table because it was an empty seat.... again I complied only because the whole interaction was wierd and intimidating. Only when I left is was when I realised the whole thing was utterly wrong hence decide to write a review with the hope she can read it and correct her behaviour. I hope you have better luck if you decide to visit Palau Bistro.

Een zeer vriendelijk echtpaar runt dit restaurantje. Het eten smaakt als home-cooking maar ziet er restaurant waardig uit. De ravioli en de eens smolten op je tong. Ook een uitgebreid wijn assortiment en het ziet er binnen ook erg gezellig uit!

Restaurant wordt gerund door een echtpaar. Zeer vriendelijk. Vers eten, de vitello tonato, de sashimi en de crispella con esparagus zijn wat mij betreft echte aanraders. Top!

Hübsches Bistro mit sehr freundlicherweise zuvorkommend Bedienung! Ein Besuch wert.
