Neighborhood bar with a decent variety of food, much with asian influence. Drink prices are not bad.
Loved this place until tonight, we had a super rude bartender at the end of our dinner. Not sure if she was rude because of all the shots of liquor that one of patrons sitting next to me and my wife bought her throughout the evening or if she is maybe is related to the owner cause sure doesn’t appear to care about repeat business. Don’t know her name but she was the thin bartender that I know who was talking about her birthday was in March. Wish her rudeness had come out before I left a 25% tip cause it would have been 0 dollars after her rude behavior with my wife and I. Definitely our last visit to Pacific Moon.
Extremely overrated and very expensive they sell everything separately, veggies etc. Regret going there, very dry. $13-17 for rice & meat then it's $5-9 if you want "one veggie" when other restaurants already included veggies in Asian dishes. So you are paying $22-44 after you actually add what should already be in the dish. The Menu description is not what you truly received in Specialty dish. Also order fried crab cakes, stated all these ingredients to include sweet potatoes and crab meat, negative it was a ball of fried Tofu, the owner is raking in dollars with this Menu. Anyway, never again we didn't even eat half of our meal we were so disappointed . Not sure who is posting these 5 Star comments but it was not our experience . Lady came all the way into the restaurant with an HEB cart lol which is in the same plaza so ya, Cabbage is $1.68 at HEB, sliced up that's probably a good 20 dishes they way they sparingly serve. 20 x $6 = $120. It was not a nice experience very sad lol lesson learned. BTW ppl work for Google who's hired by business to give fake reviews so ya that's probably a few for this restaurant when it comes to a 5 star. Lame. Save yourself & money. My go to place "Taste of Asia" 300 W. Bitters is closed on Mondays NOW that place is very upscale price is amazing I always leave a very high tip due the reasonable price of extremely fresh dishes, BUT my bad we thought we try Pacific Moon, I mean how hard is it to make white rice , chicken or steak & put it in a bowl, "without a veggie or sauce." but for an extra $10 they will toss it in
Kitchen closes at 9:45pm yall
Love this place! Food is amazing, service is great can't ask for more! Not a very big place so it can get busy quickly! One of my favorites. Always going back!
It’s all bad. Good was terrible and the waitress was rude
I went to Pacific Moon 4-5 years ago for the first time with my husband. The food was ok. We went when they weren't that busy, so the service was great. Then I went again on a Friday night to have a drink with a friend. We decided to order food too since it was around dinner time. First thing - I had no idea this place was so busy on Friday nights. I intentionally picked it as a potentially quiet spot to have a drink. Not their fault but I was totally wrong lol Second issue - it seemed like their AC was broken. There were fans everywhere, one at the front door, one at the register for the bartenders, and the ceiling fans were on. But because the place was packed, I got so hot that I almost passed out. It was crazy. I ordered a Kona chicken salad that was supposed to come with some fruit also. There were literally 3 grapes and 3 tiny apple chunks. The fried chicken was actually overwhelming. There were like 8 giant chunks served with spring mix salad. There was a small serving of coconut yogurt for a dressing which was pretty good. Overall just really underwhelming food. We were trying to get the check and pay for the food for around 30 minutes. They were pretty busy but just not getting around to us. When we did get service, it was fine. At one point they turned on very loud music and that, combined with the heat in that place, was enough to kill the whole experience.
