The busiest shop in the market for good reason. Quality products with no preservatives in their meat products = YES! Samples are available on Saturdays around 11 too!
Great selection for all your charcuterie needs! One of the staff, a french gentleman helped me select 4 delicious types of cheese, he also had an excellent sense of humor.
Caleb was super helpful and efficient slicing and dicing the meats. Highly recommend checking this place out!
I would like to share my not so great customer service here. It was a busy Mother's day Sunday in the market. I had been waiting in line for a while when one of the employees, which I was not sure what they were actually doing back there, got themselves some gum and then came over to help with the line.
This lady asked for who was next, and I raised my hand and asked "Can I get < XYZ > please?". The lady said something in return and looked at me doing nothing. Being so loud I said "Sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear you." I assumed she never heard me properly either. She then said louder "What happened to 'Hi, how are you?'".
I had already been waiting a for longer than I wanted in line but was patient as I knew how busy it was. It was loud and hard to hear over the counter. I had family waiting for me outside. There were many other customers in line behind me. I was polite in making my order and this employee was admonishing me for not asking her how her day was going and starting with some idle chit chat. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.
Best authentic french charcuterie I've had in Vancouver. Bar none.
If you like sausage, salami, pate, this is the store that you want to visit. They make the best truffle salami and duck prosciutto. They're duck pate it's always freshly made. There are other sausage or salami or prosciutto are also very good and yummy.
Arguably the best sausages in Vancouver. Each time the selection is different, and each time I've been very happy with all the different kinds I've tried. Favorites include the Oyama, the cheese smokies, the kolbasa, and the bacon. I'd recommend going and getting a few of each to try them all out. Well worth the wait if there is a line. You can also order ahead often.
Keep Cash King. This place has great selections of food, however their inability to allow cash transactions is what will keep me from enjoying their place for a long, long time. One shouldn’t have to go into instant debt to pay for food. Visa is the 8th richest company in the world. Next up on the way to poverty is CBDC. Carbon credits will include meat consumption. Bring back cash!
Great variety of pates and sausage love this place.
Best charcuterie shop I've came across in Canada.
