This store regularly has rotting or moldy produce on the shelves and they charge more than any of the other PC grocery stores in London. It's not unusual for items not normally carried at value market to appear (at full price) shortly after they were on sale at superstore. my suspicion is they're just selling things superstore didn't sell fast enough at a mark up to rip off students. I've been shopping here when I have to for years because I live close and don't always have transportation/time, and the rotting/moldy produce is a common occurrence.
This is the closest grocery store to me, but I only go if I need an item or two. So overpriced, no selection. I’ve gotten chicken from the hot and ready delicatessen, this is my 3rd and last time. I’m not sure what planet this grocery store is on to sell chicken tenders so old and dry I almost chipped my tooth, , meat in the deli is old and overpriced. I tried to have faith in you guys as you guys are the most local grocer to where I’m located, but after almost 2 years here…the produce is mediocre, the meat is either good or 1-2 days before best before, NEVER any fresh bread, wether it’s at 8am or 8PM (even though there’s a sign that states fresh bread at a certain time everyday). Do better please, as this is a grocery store that a lot of people use in this area, I really wanted to shop here as it’s so convenient and close but I have had a lot of success taking my business elsewhere. I really wish this store could do better, especially so those in the area can shop there, it’s just too much nonsense.
