Honestly the most fresh and well prepared sushi I have ever had and I eat sushi like it's my job. Get one of the special sushi dinners, you will not be disappointed! 10/10 would recommend
Ordered takeout. I think the food was ready well before our pickup time because it was cold after the 5 minute drive home. Once we warmed it up it was pretty good.
My family goes here all the time. Food is delicious and we love it’s family owned and operated.
My family loved Ozuma, too, but Owada consistently serves some of the most flavorful sushi anywhere on the SF Peninsula. A little pricy, but absolutely worth it!! Owada’s Chirashi Combo bowl is one of the better dishes I’ve had, with lots of variety in bite-sized pieces.
Went here with my partner the other day. Service was a tad slow but the chirashi bowl was fresh and a very large portion. The chicken teriyaki was also delicious, not overly salted like some other places and very tender! We even had dessert on the house which was a sweet gesture. I am hoping to come back very soon!
This place looks freshly renovated. Tried our Sushi and Sake. Service was quick, food was good
When Ozuma left, they said they gave the new owners all their recipes and that everything would be the same; no way, the quality of food here has gone way way down. Also the service is very poor, even if you are the only customers there. I used to eat at Ozuma once a week but I wont' be going back to Owada ever again - too bad they didn't save the original recipes and follow them! Time to find a new sushi place. I still grieve the loss of Ozuma, and yet another excellent San Carlos restaurant replaced by a mediocre imposter. NOT GOOD SUSHI AT ALL.
Food was very tasty and service friendly and prompt. At our table, we had various dishes including salmon teriyaki bowl, miso soup, a couple of kinds of sushi and more. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
