Papaya crab salad, sticky rice, tiger beef, fried prawns and for dessert sticky mango Oh... my so delicious rice. This was what my wife and ordered on our 1st visit to Oros. This swquank joint is super cool. They are friendly attentive and responsesive.. here is my opinion on the food. Papaya salad - great flavor but very little crab and mostly small shell.. I understand that is just what it is so I am accepting of that..but com'on.. at least give us some crab meat. The sticky rice ,well what can you say it's Fire. Now the Tiger beef .. not may favorite but not awful.. just okay.. fried prawns Awsome ... now to desert..I never had sticky mango sweet rice ...THIS WAS THESE BEST DESSERT I HAVE HAD IN A LONG TIME..I ordered 1 to go!.. overall this is a great spot we shall return. I do hope they plan to remove the carpet.. because I ain't feeling it .. and well other than that no complaints. Oh and we were a free tea . That's pretty cool in my book .
Delicious food! I was very pleasantly surprised by the freshness, quality and taste of the dishes I got to try. . Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was tender, juicy and flavorful. The peanut sauce was amazing! Great appetizer. . Pad Gra-Praw (Thai Basil): I had never tried this specific dish before and it surpassed my expectations. The chicken was great, and the sauteed veggies were delicious! I chose brown instead of white rice and it was better than most I've tried. Also, the crispy won ton pieces they added were to die for
Our favorite Thai spot in San Jose! This place is worth a visit, or two, or three. Everything we’ve tried has been incredible. Some of our favorites are the Tom Kha, Pad See Ew with beef, panang curry, spicy crab noodles, and Gaeng Panang Pla (the best!) Parking: Parking is tough. Small lot shared by several businesses
Fantstic ambience and wonderful taste, lots of veggie options
I took my sister to lunch today and it was wonderful. This food is very good and everyone treated us very well . very good service. I definitely would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.. Best Tai food I’ve had. I will definitely be back.
Chicken Pad Thai was really flavorful and had a solid portion size. Asked for hot and it was perfectly spicy, whereas other places do an American hot that's mild.
Food quality other than the ice cream that shown in the picture was not that good. Roasted duck meat in the curry was not fresh. Restaurant didnot charge for it. Server was really polite. I would have given five if the food quality was at per with other good Thai restaurants.
Food was good but just pricey.
Cozy little restaurant. Excellent food. It tends to run on the spicy side, but always tasty!
First time trying Oros Thai....it was a packed Friday night and the place was very lively. We waited for a table for about 10 minutes (not too bad). We ordered Pad Kee Mao and Basil Fried Rice. The pad kee mao was a medium spice level. It wasn't very spicy and I even added some more chili to go along with it. I wished it had a little more bell peppers and basil in it to help cut the noodles a bit. The taste was good but I would say I have had better elsewhere. The Thai Basil fried rice was a Thai hot spice level and still wasn't as spicy as I was expecting it to be...I even added more chili. It was spicier than the medium though. The rice was a little mushier than what I would have liked but the flavor was nice nonetheless. Service was good and waiters were attentive.
