My husband said oysters on the half shell were good. I got a stack of fried green tomatoes, fish, parmesan cheese sauce topped with popcorn shrimp with cheese grits and turnip greens as sides. It was good, nothing extra special. Thank goodness for shop while you wait an hour.
Husband had oysters on the shell and blackened trigger fish. He enjoyed both. I had a cheeseburger as I am not a seafood person. Excellent food and service.
Wee visited The Oyster House and both enjoyed our meals. I had the fried green tomatoes with blackened fish on top and my husband had the pick two with trigger fish and stuffed shrimp. Both very good! Service was excellent and no wait. I would recommend this restaurant.

There's a ton of seafood options in the area, and this is one of the better ones. The menu is large, and offers a little of everything seafood wise. The fried shrimp, fish of the day, and collard greens are a few of my go to items here. I do like the oysters here, but mainly just on the 1/2 shell. Some of the complex varieties mask the freshness a bit too much for my taste. The service has always been good, even at the bar, which stays packed. The bartenders usually offer you a frozen mug for your already cold bottle of beer.... nice touch. Bottom line: If you're looking for good seafood and frosty brews, served in a killer environment, this place is as good as any.
We went on 4th of July for lunch and we got it in without having to wait. The views are spectacular, we enjoyed having her lunch and being able to look out. Our waiter Marco was amazing. He took time to invest in my son. This is definitely somewhere I go back to if I was in the area. The food was good, I felt like the quality was very fair for the price that we paid.my husband and I both got fish blackened. The pina coladas are amazing though definitely worth getting.
Usually very busy but the wait is not too long and is worth it. If you love fried Oysters, this is the place.
This is a very busy place. You can immediately see how hard everyone works. But, despite the hustle and bustle, you can still guarantee a happy and cheerful server and fantastic food. We ordered the Mahi/down and shrimper delight. I also asked for a grilled piece of tuna which was not sold separately on the menu. They were happy to do that without a question. What a treat!! Great food and we were all stuffed. I will certainly come again! Thank you Kim for giving us a wonderful night!
Really good seafood. Wait is about an hour, but there is plenty of shopping in the neighboring buildings and the pager that the restaurant gives you reaches that far. Flounder, fried shrimp, raw oysters, crab legs all really good. Definitely recommend.
