It's not good

We’ve eaten at many Chinese restaurants including in different Chinatowns like San Francisco, Chicago, and Montreal and the food here is as good and in some cases even better! The Dim Sum (pork and shrimp dumplings and fried shrimp balls), the Lobster Cantonese, and the Hong Kong Duck are especially delicious!

羊肉煲味道偏甜，汤包露底……炸芋角，虾饺烧麦都不错。但是女朋友很喜欢这儿！下次有机会需要在best buy trader Joe's那边找停车位，停车场很大但是空车位不多，不过流动很快，多转几圈比较好找到车位。有机会再来会试一下其他菜

I had an amazing experience at Open Rice Metropolitan recently. The service was flawless and the meal was amazing. The location was ideal for a special event or informal dinner because of the warm and inviting environment. You won't be sorry if you sample their wide selection of menu items!

After a wait, my family and I enjoyed our Lunar New Year meal. My parents learned of this place while finding ways to celebrate the holiday and we're sold on the dim sum trolleys like LA's Chinatown and Taiwan. We waited about 30 mins with everyone celebrating the New Year then were seated and served water quickly while waiting for the trolleys. There are four main trolleys of congee, dry plates like fried dough and turnip cakes, steams plates like dumplings, and the rice rolls. Each make their way around the dining area frequently so you can point and choose. The rice rolls is the more elusive cart and goes quickly — this is my fav dish and wanted to highlight it. Everything tasted great from our choices of congee, turnip cake, sui mai, rice rolls, fried dough with shrimp, and dumplings. I wish there were more variety with dumplings and thought the prices could be a bit cheaper, but understand how this is a unique experience for Charlotte and it goes towards the price. Overall, my family enjoyed our meal and our holiday here. Parking: There is a parking garage but traffic is insane for this part of Charlotte and a better flow is needed for the commercial shops (Target, Trader Joe's, Best Buy) and eateries here.

Wow! We went for dim sum for Chinese New Year. This was our first time and won't be our last. Amazing dishes. Very fresh food. Everything was excellent.
