Old Xian's Food

We are hunting biang Biang noddles in the metro Vancouver, so feel excited to find one nearby. The noodles met our expectations, but the whole bowl was way oilier than what we had had from the different restaurants, and my husband’s stomach felt upset after that. When we finished the food, an inch of oil was left in our bowl. The burger tasted plain. Good thing they take credit card if you purchase more than $15.

Was amazing portion size! One of the best I've ever had on uber eats, loaded with flavour. I will be sure to visit their physical location.

I always end up ordering the same few things, and crave it when I haven’t had it in while. love the fresh “biang biang” noodles, it’s just too difficult to get this to-go, best eaten fresh.

I like the braised beef noodle soup with hand pulled noodles. Done in 10 mins, it's one of our lazy night take out picks. Updated review: I’m a regular customer here and today for the first time I had the worst braised beef ever. The meat was chewy like a rock and inedible. I’m very disappointed. How can you charge someone full price for that meat let alone serve it to a paying customer? Please take note of today’s food because that should never have been served.

This restaurant is a hit or miss for me. Ordered online and in person. I have tried many dishes here. Sweet & Sour Pork, hot & sour pork with rice, cumin lamb noodles, spicy oil noodles with tomato and egg… the list goes on… 21st Nov, whoever cooked was great. But 22Nov, the food was sub-par and the sweet and sour pork was only sweet. So, Kudos to the chef who can cook and do better to the chef that cannot. The only reason I keep going here is they got hand pulled noodles and it hits the spot… sometimes… it’s like a coin toss..

This establishment will not serve you if you do not speak Chinese. The cashier looked like she hated me for trying to look at the menu and shooed me away and said I shouldn’t order from this place.
