Old Silent Inn

Having read other favourable feedback we decided to visit the old silent inn for an evening meal. The food was delicious and extremely tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Just called for a drink one lunchtime. Very warm welcome to what I call a very quirky pub with bags of unique characters. Do not know what rooms are like but probably ideal for walkers set in a rural location. If you like countryside, this is for you. Food looked nice as well. Will be going back to try it.

Popped in for a quick drink and a bite to eat after going on a walk to top withins. The lady behind the bar couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely service and great prices for such a lovely location. Dog friendly and lovely 'proper' pub feel.

Stopped in here after a hike for a cheeky bite to eat and drink. The young bar lady was really welcoming, attentive and friendly. The food was really good and lots of options too! It's a quirky old style pub with the low ceilings and wood beams, haunted too so lots of great stories! The only downside was we found it a bit nippy and the toilets had a really weird smell but otherwise what a gem hidden near Bronte.

Went in for a meal. It was proper home cooked food. The service was very good and very reasonably priced. The pub is very dog friendly. Would highly recommend.

Staff very helpful and friendly . Food excellent only one thing to moan about its a work in progress.

Only called in for food, which was surprisingly nice little disappointed by the horrendous smell in the ladies toilets and the gents were just has bad

We walked here for a delicous Sunday lunch. Food was great. Staff were very helpfull and friendly!

Great food good beer selection beautiful place

Went here for a meal this evening. They clearly had been mega busy due to mother's day, yet we still had amazing food and amazing service. We didn't get the waitress' name but she was young, dark curly hair and glasses. She was fantastic and very accommodating. We were a little disappointed that the full menu wasn't available, but understood they had been very busy and it was actually great to see a place doing so well in such a tough time for people and business. Thanks to all the staff on duty this evening, we had a great time and hope the managers recognise how hard you had clearly worked today. And thank you for the mother's day gift
