I just came out of this dump. It’s not authentic New York food The pastrami is over priced and is so much fat in it. It’s ridiculous. The bagel chips taste like plastic because they put it in a plastic container. The matzoh ball soup had big chunks of vegetables that you could choke on, and let’s not forget their cream soda. They have on tap it taste like whiskey the coleslaw even taste like whiskey and the potato salad was hard as rocks don’t waste your time or your money. Gave back the food, asked for a refund and they was giving me a hard time the cashier and manager well, never be coming back 🤮👎🏻👎🏻
I knew I shouldn't have walked in. Fresh bread smell. Lovely people must try
Check your cream cheese before you walk out. I got a moldy surprise when I got home.
They got the order wrong.....but made it right!!!
Super happy!
Delicious!
Love this deli! Greatest bakery ever! Also ordered individual Thanksgiving dinners here. Absolutely the best! Try the pumpernickel bagel and egg salad ... Just delicious!!!
Nice place but the food was very bad, my hot pastrami sandwich was cold like from fridge cold. Very disappointed in food quality and temperature.
Old New York Deli & Bakery Co. is a wonderful little deli gem. The variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and great coffee is impressive. The espresso is rich and delicious. The pastrami reuben sandwich stole the show - delicate, decadent pastrami sliced thinly to perfection. My only critique is the pickles came in a plastic bag, making them look less appetizing visually.
But overall, it's an authentic deli experience with quality fare worth visiting. Just be prepared for the bagged pickles alongside your delectable reuben or pastry.
Bought a bagel and matzo ball soup from here about 10 months ago. The taste was pretty bland. Disappointed. I’m from the northeast and mid Atlantic and this doesn’t taste like anything from New York. My onion bagel was pretty stiff and tasteless matzo ball soup was bland didn’t even taste like salt or spices were used. 3 stars because service wasn’t awful and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. Maybe other items taste better?
I know New York bagels and these are far from it. Go to Hank’s Bagels down the road if you want a good bagel.
One menu without prices and the other is the screen menu, where I have to wait 3 minutes for the screen to come back to my section. Inconvenient system, had to leave.
