It's good People are nice
The food and service are not as good as before the major flood and Co vid. As with everything in the greater Lexington Columbia area the prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Once upon a time, this was amongst my favorite places due to its locations and selections of food. They had mussels and their fish and chips were great. Then after the flood, it was like the pond behind it was empty and drained and full of rocks. The selection of exotic beers was not as good. They tried passing off tilapia as their breaded fish. Yuck! It just seemed haphazard at best. I honestly have been here for over 4 years now. Because of the tilapia incident. Some things you just can't nor ahouldnt compromise on. After that happened, we just totally quit going here. That seemed like a no brainer to not substitute tilapia for Cod on fish and chips. Maybe it was an off day, or that may have been for a taco for the fish tacos. But after that we never did return and haven't since. Lambic may not have been a great seller in terms of their craft beers ,but that was another reason that we decided not to return. Because when Flying Saucer was still in business UT was the only other bar that served the Belgian draft pour. Parking: Can be harder to find parking on Fridays to Sundays. There is a yoga and workout place where people run in the parking lot, so drive carefully and slowly because people are known to do cool downs from the gym .
My wife and I were blown away by the atmosphere, the OMBP crew, and the food!! Dude!! Off the chain!! You now will have 2 new regulars!! Rock On!
We had a large party for a surprise bday and the service was great.
Awesome place. Historical, lots of great atmosphere. Service was fantastic. Dog friendly on the gorgeous patio. Food is delicious and fresh. Definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys niche history restaurants and great beer. Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu and lots of options. Good portion sizes.
