Just so nice the experience, the food and even the customers just was a really great atmosphere in the food is just so delicious
My husband and I had a reservation for a special valentine's day dinner that was placed several weeks ago for Feb 11. Little did we know once we showed up the place was closed. For superbowl Sunday? Who knows, but we drove 45 minutes to dine here and we just can't believe how inconsiderate that was. Not a phone call or notice. Won't be dining here. We went to Eddie V's instead, and it did not disappoint!
For a $1,600 meal, this establishment is lacking. 4/5ths of our entrees were not cooked properly (severely so), management comp’d them without being asked but it still impacted the meal. No glass bottled water. Water service was middling. No fresh napkins, no table clean off between courses Food was okay, but nothing was exceptional aside from the peanut butter desert and as you can tell from our bill, we tried quite a lot of it. It’s not that this establishment isn’t good, it is, it’s just not worth its massive price tag. Bourbon & Bones has better steak, better liquor options, better service (hot peppermint towels, pick cutlery, scrape/clean table, better bottled water), and includes verified import A-9 all for same pricing. Mastros has better dishes, period. Service is slightly better, but overall they’ve gone downhill last 5 years and I’d still rate Ocean Prime worse for same price. You built a beautiful aesthetic and a mid service/kitchen and slapped $$$$ prices on it… do better.
The Teriyaki Salmon is amazing
Troy made our anniversary one of the best nights and experiences at a restaurant I have ever had. He was funny and gave the best service we have had at a restaurant. I laughed the whole time. Thank you Troy! You rock
they charge for the atmosphere because the food is very mid . way better seafood out there. 5/10
Went here yesterday for my wife's birthday. The customer service from Chris was flawless, the bread was absolutely delicious, we got to sit next to the firepit which my wife loved. I had the lamb and she had twin tail lobster. We got jalapeno au gratin, parmesan truffle fries and lobster mac n cheese. All were delicious. My only complaint is that the lamb was just too small - even for a fancy restaurant - it was small. Would be nice to see how many ounces it is on menu. If i got the lamb without a bunch of sides i would definitely be leaving hungry. . But im still giving 5* overall. my wife also got the creme brulee dessert which was amazing.
