Oblate Cafeteria

Cool cafe in an old cloister-now-library. Has a nice view of the cathederal. Drinks were great and a good price. I didnt eat here mostly because the food on display didnt look that exciting.

Mangiare bene sotto la Cupola di Brunelleschi, ottimo prezzo e buon servizio. Davvero consigliato!

Meraviglioso il posto. Mal gestito il bar

A unique location, ideal for admiring Florence's Duomo. Perfect for working in the sun or having a drink with friends (I recommend bringing your own alcohol, as the bar's drink prices are pretty steep).

The view is beautiful and certainly worth the trip but the staff are very rude. At first, I asked for a paper cup and they told me it would cost 10 cents. I said never mind and they proceeded to tell me I should be “saving the planet”, which I felt was quite rude (considering a single paper cup is not going to save the planet). I then was asked to leave after 30 mins when I hadn’t yet finished my drinks (I ordered two) because I was sitting alone and sketching/painting while drinking. Overall, I didn’t feel welcome or respected here by the staff.

Cette cafétéria, il faut la dénicher, elle se mérite et il vous faudra faire preuve de patience et de ténacité pour la découvrir. Effectivement la vue sur le Domio est juste incroyable, la salle était cependant chaude (problème de climatisation !?), et nous avons préféré la cour intérieure et sa fraîcheur. Apres une grande partie de la journée passée à arpenter les rues de Florence, à piétiner dans les musées, cette pause nous a été salvatrice. On a vu 4 excellent cocktail de fruits frais 🍹 On vous laisse chercher... 😉
