OBC Kitchen

Connor was a great and informational server!! We are here for work for 3 months and he told us so much about the history of Kentucky! Can't wait to go back, and bring my sister-in-law to enjoy this great experience!!!!

If you're looking for a place with upscale southern dishes this is the ticket. In lexington for 4 days and I will absolutely be back tomorrow. The grit frites were a perfect start, followed by the short ribs and pork loin entrees. Can't sing their praises enough!

I went for a first visit recently for dinner. I'll start off by saying that I don't drink bourbon or eat bacon, two items that figure prominently on the menu. The food is the best I have had in Lexington. It is simply outstanding - there is greatness happening in that kitchen! The ambiance and service are fabulous, too - shout out to Truman. I had the beef tacos (melt in your mouth) and the halibut (I can't describe how incredibly delicious this dish is!). I will be back!!!

Edit: Management was wonderful and helped rectify the situation and met the usual high expectations. Reservation was at 6:45pm. Didn’t get seated until 7:05pm. This was on a Tuesday! We came in for a business meeting (5 people), usually we are in and out within a hour and a half and food is great. This visit was ROUGH! We waited over 15 min just to get drinks ordered and another 30 min to order food. I get that it was a busy time but there were tables that sat down, ate AND left by the time we were getting our food. The manager did come out and apologize stating they were not expecting this big of a crowd. But honestly the server was almost nonexistent. We had to wave someone else down just for the check after trying for 20min. The checks finally arrived and they were mixed up. We had to get it corrected even though everyone had the restaurant week specials. Most of us were on a time constraint and leaving at almost 10pm due to the SERVICE was unacceptable. I love OBC but this was enough for us to take a break for a while. Food was great as always, no complaints there.
