I recently had the pleasure of visiting Normal, the charming ice cream store nestled in the 9th and 9th neighborhood of Salt Lake City, and I must say, it was an absolute treat for the senses! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a cozy atmosphere and the most delightful aroma of freshly made soft ice cream. Normal's innovative twist on soft-serve truly sets it apart from the rest. The variety of flavors they offer is simply astounding - from the rich and creamy rice pudding to the whimsical and nostalgic Lucky Charms, there is something to satisfy every craving. If you find yourself in Salt Lake City, do yourself a favor and make your way to Normal in the 9th and 9th neighborhood. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. It's a real gem that deserves all the praise it gets. Five stars all the way!
Super fun experience. Would like more details about what it's going to be when I get it so I could order better. So here's for those reading reviews. The normal size is in a clear cup, the half size doesn't look as cool, so I'd recommend getting a cup instead.
I was very excited to get a delicious soft serve ice cream cone. When I was walking up, it looked like a great place for a delicious dessert. However, when you walk in you get the feeling that you are not wanted. The staff was very unfriendly and unwilling to answer questions. They made me feel rushed when there was no one else in line. If you want a soft serve ice cream cone, you’re likely to get better service going to McDonald’s on the day that the ice cream machine is broken.
This is terrible ice cream. None of the flavors were good at all. Each time we asked if they had a flavor the lady said we only have what’s on the menu. Well the menu was hard to read. If I can’t look right at a menu and know what to do it’s confusing. It just wasn’t good at all. I would just not go here again. Some people obviously like it but the ice cream was just bad and no normal flavors at all.
Terrible experience getting ice cream here. We asked for a layer of toppings in the middle, it would take an extra thirty seconds. The worker proceeded to tell us that it would take too long and she didn’t think she could do it. She then started making fun of us with her coworker right in front of us as she made our ice cream. It was shocking how openly they would mock a customer. All of this to also mention that our cups weren’t even filled up. Do not recommend!
Their menu is confusing and needs a lot of work. There is no space inside. It’s pretty hard to mess up ice cream but this small business definitely accomplished that. I would of been happier with a McFlurry from McDonald’s
Never had anything but great service here and the flavors are some of the most innovative/best tasting on the city. Highly recommend.
