Was there for dinner with a client. A group of 8 of us. Excellent food. Made me recall how much I enjoy Nobu. Was my first time at this location, but taste and quality was similar to other Nobu experiences I have had. I tasted ‘real’ wasabi for the first time as was with some sushi experts. I don’t recall what we ordered, but everything was great to excellent. The atmosphere can get a little ‘Instagramy’ in that some patrons are there to say they have been…but service is good. They did spill wine all over one persons shirt, and did the best they could to handle the fall out. Thus, free dessert included and would never have thought to order, but was fantastic. Recommend for those looking for a quality suishi dining experience

My experience at Nobu is usually awesome but tonight’s service was a disappointment. We waited a long time for our food and even had to grab our waiter to order. We didn’t receive the Ceviche we ordered gor an appetizer which was a bummer but our waiter was able to adjust the tab and was apologetic. The food is amazing and although the service was slow I recognize things happen and it wont keep my boyfriend and I coming here. We ordered tempura alaskan king grab and holy smokes it was so good! We also did the ribeye cap which melted in our mouth I will be getting that every time! And we did three rolls the soft shell crab, spicy albacore and shrimp tempura. Miso soups, edamame and oysters. Food is phenomenal so if you have two hours to spend in case they are behind, I still would recommend.

The first time was awesome. The dinner really good, The service awesome But last time I got in the restaurant 8 minutes late and they didn’t give me a table. I was driving from California and my first stop was in this restaurant, I got a lot traffic getting in the city, and the lady at front desk didn’t care. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I think they need be more tolerant about it .

I can't believe I didn't eat here sooner! The most amazing sushi I've had in Arizona so far. Mike was our sushi chef, and he gave great recommendations. The quality was a 10, as well as freshness, and watching him prepare it was like watching art being made! Absolutely wonderful place to eat. Definitely coming back, and trying the wagyu next.

Really just average food for the price. Portions for everything were miniscule. Even sashimi cuts were extremely small vs many excellent sushi restaurants. Beautiful decor and great service.

Annoyed and rushed through our meal I dined at Nobu last night with my wife and son. We arrived at 5:15 and were rushed out by 6:05. I counted 6 interruptions by everyone not including the waiter. They took the salad off the table while we were still eating it. Literally tried pouring tap water into our bottled water glasses 3 times picked up my son’s plate while he wasn’t done eating it. I have eaten at Nobu many times but they must have tried to squeeze too many meals into one night. The water took our dinner order and said she would pace it and brought it on top of our appetizers. Absolutely maddening meal which cost $400 and no one had any alcohol. Nobu should be reprimanded for such a poor experience. We won’t be going back when the competition for a great meal is that outstanding in Scottsdale.

Went for Nobu Scottsdale's "Tanoshi" happy hour and I would describe it as underwhelming and overpriced. On Friday happy hour is from 5-6pm (may be different on another night), served at the bar and lounge, it was pretty empty at 5:30pm. They were playing unnecessarily loud music so it was difficult to have a conversation. Cocktails were $14 and weak. Draft Asahi beer was $10, but less than 12oz, recommend ordering a 12oz bottle of your favorite beer instead. Tried the black cod butter lettuce ($16 for 2 pieces) which was the best item. Yellowtail sashimi ($16 for 3 thin slices) was very average too much sauce, crispy rice avocado ($9 for 2 small bites) was average, sea bass tempura ($20 for 4-5 bites) not amazing. Cannot justify the prices relative to other upscale Japanese national brands in the valley like Roka Akor.

Nobu is a go-to for me for happy hour or a quick bite, no matter which city. The atmosphere of each location sets the perfect mood & service has always been very attentive.

This was my first time to Nobu and certainly won’t be my last. *first timers, this place is NOT cheap* We tried the chefs menu, which is a curated menu. Your server interviews you to find out what you like and don’t like or any allergies. Based on that, they work with the chefs with your inspiration to curate a 8 course family style menu that is absolutely to die for. Every single thing I ate, the next dish took the top spot for my favorite. I couldn’t name a favorite! We added some dessert on the end and washed everything down with Lychee and elderflower martini’s and Japanese whiskey. The vibe is just right, packed restaurant with a cool and chill lounge house playlist. Everyone is dressed up and the servers and staff are top notch! Definitely a place for a special occasion, friends dinner, date night, or just good food!

Huge fan of Nobu franchises all over the world. I ate at the restaurant today and was surprised by how oily the food was and then the fish and steak were extremely dry. I didn’t complain to the manager nor did I ask for items to be taken off the bill. I normally devour my plate and I felt sick after 5 minutes of eating. Came back to the hotel and puked every thing out. Not happy but hopefully the chef reads this. Service 5 starts vibes 5 stars food 2 stars
