Nine Squared

We don’t often make it up north but when we do we go out of our way to include nine squared in our itinerary! Great coffee, friendly service and a cozy space…what more could you ask for?! This place is top class!!!

Newry is already blessed with a few spots for great coffee, but Nine Squared is the very best of a brilliant bunch. The quality of the coffee is pretty much flawless - the same amount of effort and care from the friendly staff is put in whether you're sitting in or taking away. The pastries are also delicious, with the shortbread being a favourite of mine. The coffee is simply top quality, I can't think of anywhere else in Ireland or the UK which beats it.

Great coffee

Plenty of coffee shops about Newry but Nine Squared serves by far the best coffee going. Can't go wrong with a flat white and plenty of treats/tray bakes to choose from for a snack on the side. Plenty of seating inside if not in a rush to sit in and relax
