Nikis Kitchen Cafe

Chips were so mid .... how do you mess up chips? I can imagine the sweet food is nice but the basics are lacking Greasy and no taste.

It's a little bit expensive but not bad.

Love the fry. Usually get the large one and it keeps me going for hours. Scones are lovely too.

Wow, this Cafe ticks all the right boxes!

We called by on a Sunday morning for coffee, sausage roll and a ?malteser square. Service was a bit grumpy when I asked the 2 sausage rolls I'd ordered to be in separate bags (yes we were 2 people eating them and they were hot), oat milk split in the coffee showing a poor pairing of the chosen milk with the acidity/temperature of the coffee. It was a bit gross looking and texture worse. The sausage rolls and malteser square tasted of nothing really. First time here, very disappointing. No rush to return unfortunately. Nice view and that's all.

Service was OK, but server did not wash hands after using loo, my hubby observed this so won't go back.
