Great place. Great sandwiches...sandwiches are al out exactly like schlotzskys, which is no longer around here.
Very low key for how BOMB their food is. hands down the best sandwich spot I have come across state wide. the only downside is they close earlier then most restaurants. side note: Bacon Chicken is where its at!
If you miss the old Schlotzky's, this is where to go. I have to admit when I saw Schlotzky's close, I was devastated. BUT.... in its place this shop arose out of the ashes. I assume the franchise fees were too much, perhaps. The menu has many Schlotzky favorites, but also many new sandwiches to choose from. My go-to sandwich is the roast beef and cheese. For some reason NOT listed on the menu board, but it is there in the online menu. I was not disappointed, the sandwich is pretty much the same as the Schlotzky's version. For that reason alone, I will be back, because there's nothing else like it in town. Very very tasty. A few minor downsides: Understaffed. Only 2 people, the guy was bouncing back and forth between the register and the kitchen. The woman co--worker was busy as well. They really could use a third person. I get it, times are tight. So if you come, be patient depending on the time of day. The decor needs serious work. First up, the OUTSIDE has no major signage of ANY kind, except for small round signs on the windows and door. This is a huge mistake, because from any kind of distance at all, it literally looks like the place is still closed. The interior also needs a lot of attention. The material on many of the chairs is old and cracked, the ceiling is awful, and the floors were just... not clean. The tables are... generic. It's like they jjust don't care. The vibe is... like this place is just hanging on to survive. If there was any kind of investment in the exterior AND interior, I think they would have a higher customer draw and therefore a more solid customer base. And it would be more enjoyable to eat there. In seeing the drcor I opted to take my sandwich to go.
Food is so good. Sandwiches are very large and you definitely get what you pay for. Staff very nice. Place could use an update but that obviously has nothing to do with food quality.
Every sandwich I've tried so far (probably about 5) has been excellent. Bread, flavor, wide selection, all fantastic. Even have gluten free bread for my wife. Happy to be a new regular.
Stale bread, mediocre commercial deli meat, and uninspired sauces. These sandwiches are not worth eating. As mentioned above, all of the sandwich constituents are substandard for the price being charged. The bread was definitely not fresh, which I feel is the minimum requirement for a premium priced sandwich. An overall disappointing experience.
Time to update the interior, ripped up chairs and a old nasty looking floor that needs ro be replaced. No one wants a hard chocolate chip cookie. It's supposed to be crispy on the outer edge and soft and delicious all in the inside however they do not know how to properly make one/ they are baking them too long. Broccoli cheese for the soup of the day?? How basic can you get...?
Wow! Had the ham and turkey and was remarkable. I ordered a large and after the order was in they happened to be out of the large bread, so they brought out 2 regular sandwiches (other sandwich not shown in my photo) without even asking. Please support this locally owned business. Real food.. real good. Good vibe too!
I was skeptical about the bread but it is delicious.
